It makes sense Caeda would use the Wing Spear, it was very odd how Heroes didn't include it. Of the Shadow Dragon Pegasus Knights, it was Est that was most associated with Swords.

I'm glad they went back to the more traditional Divine Dragon design for Warriors.

Its kinda ironic that no characters of the Warrior class appear to be in the game!

I thought it was a possibility Validar was a hidden character.

Also, of course they use that manakete design when the specific Tiki used is from Shadow Dragon.

Sort of funny how not only is Tiki's amiibo not based on any existing artwork unless I am missing something, but her render in Warriors seemingly isn't based on anything?

Also, can I say that all the roster talk I hear sort of turns Navarre into white noise to me?

Seeing the way Tiki fights makes me confident that the Laguz will appear in DLC.

So, no Azura?

Damn, now the modern fans got burned.

Shame though. We just lost an infantry lancer with water powers who had more plot relevance than half the confirmed cast.

EDIT: At this point, armed with this revelation, I wouldn't be surprised of the rest of Fates's and Awakening's cast was set in stone.

Honestly, if it meant Azura was in, I would gladly objectify Elise and Sakura.

...By which I mean turn them into healing or buffing power-ups to use in-battle instead of playable characters, considering they are moveset clones of Leo/Takumi and that lance infantry is criminally underrepresented in Warriors.

This news is super lame.

Still gonna get the game and hope for Azura to get in as DLC, but ouch.

I don't really care about Azura so this is pretty ambivalent news to me.

I don't care that much about azura as a character but her movesetwould have a lot of potential and we need more lancers.

I mean, she has one of the easiest unique movesets to conceive of, but nope, gotta get the entire family in. Except the second most important one of course.

We already have quite enough Fates reps.

It honestly is bit surprising that the game comes out in less than a week. At least to Japan. It feels so weird due of how little we ultimately know about stuff. At least that is what it sort of feels, Maybe there is more info, just that a lot of stuff is just written down and not demonstrated. Like they are intentionally holding info from us. At the very least the game comes out soon enough where we can hopefully put things to rest for the time being.

I'm not too bothered by Azura's absence. Would've been nice for her to be in, but hey, there might be other chances in the future. I am very happy with the Fates people we already have in the game, so I'm still pretty hyped for Warriors.

And people can still point to the number of Fates reps as a reason it's not that odd. Fates' most prominent characters are the PC, Azura, and two sets of four sibs that complement each other. They're not gonna cut only part of either sibling set, they're not gonna cut all of Hoshido or all of Nohr, and ten units from one game is an awful lot given what we already knew about the roster size.

Well there's that lance infantry for you. Ephraim intensifies. I hope that means Lianna gets an axe.

That's a really weird lance if you asked me. The fact that he uses lances was due of how low resolution the image originally was.

That's not a lance, that's just a seam in the floor tiles.

More than sure that's still a sword. What exactly changed anyway?

What I get for trying to look at it on a phone screen, I guess.

New headdress, a fancier cape, strap over the the shoulder, more golden accents on clothes and gauntlets, fancier skirt and iron leggings. Also large stat boosts.
