Ninety: Not impossible, but you need a lot of fliers and at least two strong fighters who aren't Ryoma to make the midpoint safe for Azura. Obviously, the issue there is that not every run is going to have that kind of stuff prepared.

Ok, I've been thinking about "what ifs" for a while, and I have two things I'd like to ask for opinions on.

What if Elise joined for the Mokushu mission (or whatever the master ninja boss mission is called) with her retainers, instead of after Camilla? Would that be an early enough join time for Arthur and Effie that they wouldn't have the deck stacked against them?

And now, more importantly, what if the royal sisters also had children unique to them? Would this destroy game balance in some way that I can't think of? I was thinking that, if you had an extra male and female child unit per side, it could be a way to introduce male Apocatherapy and Oni Fighter units without throwing off pairings.

Aren't children determined by the father this time with female Kamui and Azura as the exceptions? That said, the younger sisters are kind of weak from what I've heard so their kids probably wouldn't be broken. Hinoka's kid probably would be though.

Elise actually has a high Magic cap and a stupidly high (if not the highest) personal growth; it's like 80% or something. Her problem is getting to a point where she can start nuking anything because she starts as a Troubador and is stuck in E Rank hell for a bit after premoting. (Being physically frail also sucks.)

An exclusive kid for her that's Magic-oriented with a passable Defense growth would be usable with an Offspring Seal.

Yeah, Elise's magic growth is ridiculous.

And as to the princesses getting kids: I would have been all for it, and I'm mildly annoyed at the fact that they didn't. (my Fates fanfic I'm working on actually has Hinoka and Camilla getting unique kids, but I could easily come up with ideas for Elise and Sakura as well)

I've seen some pretty neat fanmade kids for the Fates characters that didn't have any.

Fanmade daughter of Gunter.

Her personal growth is 65%, which is the only part that gets considered for her kid. As a Strategist, the class growth pushes her to 80% total. Sorc or Witch nets her 90%.

Due to growths being an average of the variable parent and the kid's base personal growth, this would actually take Elise's Mag growth out of the equation. In the end, the kid would need an insane personal Mag growth to even match Elise because the candidates for magic husbands are really bad (+Mag Corrin is the best at 50%, with Odin's sad 30% somehow being second).

Funnily enough, I had a kid for Gunter. Mine was a guy, but yeah (also, in the fic Reina was his mother because of the "I'm witnessing the courtship of demons" picture I saw )

Gunter does have a kid. Well, did.

These make my life feel complete.

Young(er)!Garon

Having so many women fawn over him in the past now suddenly makes a whole lot more sense.

Well if we go by Xander, Leo, Siegbert and Forrest, that means Garon had to have been one attractive dude.

That card art is clear Silver Fox, which means one thing: Garon must have been Nohr's "Sexiest Man Alive" several years running

That's how Nohr's king is decided, didn't you know?

Given that, in game, Garon looks like Xander aged really badly, I'm not surprised.

It's like Pokemon. Siegbert -> Xander -> Garon, Shiro -> Ryoma -> Sumeragi.

Not surprised that Garon used Siegfried in the past. Well, if this doesn't give one suspicions about his Bölverk axe coming from Anankos, it sure does now.

I kinda wanna see Garon dual wielding Siegfried and Bolverk now. Guy's certainly got the build for it.

Anyone pre-ordered Tellius Recollection Part 2 yet? I still haven't purchased Part 1 yet and I want to make sure to pre-order Part 2 this time around so I won't have to pay a lot more for it later on. Part 1 covers Path of Radiance, while Part 2 covers Radiant Dawn.

I think the Fire Emblem Awakening artbook is supposed to be released in mid-October as well, hopefully it won't be delayed again (the artbook was originally supposed to be released in August IIRC).

Maybe Garon was a Great Knight when he was younger?

You know, something has been bugging me about a certain ingame cutscene I saw a while back in Conquest.

Xander is on foot in engine, so he can't use paladin animations. Instead, he's shown using Hero animations for combat. Corrin was a Bow Knight at the time, and so she obviously can't use her mounted animations, and just happened to have a Bronze Bow equipped, but I can't figure out what class' attack animations she used.

Started a hard Birthright run. The early chapters aren't tough, but you can't just throw units at the enemy blindly. Though Ryoma did manage to beat the hooded guy to my surprise.

Did the hooded man say anything different when Ryoma beat him?

I've had Ryoma defeat the hooded man plenty of times in the past. It's really all based on luck.

I've never had it happen to me, but I saw it happen to someone on stream once. He was actually annoyed because he wanted Corrin to get the boss EXP.
