So that means Reimu and Marisa aren't like 29-30 years old by now? Their artwork implies they've been aging up over the years.

It's not an interview, it seems to be a Q&A session from a Chinese convention he was the guest at.

And Akyuu looks noticeably less girly too, at least in Forbidden Scrollery. Huh. Kinda weird to freeze the characters' aging like that when one of the themes in recent entries is how Gensokyo is changing.

Maybe Eirin dumped a shady new drug in the water supply or something. Or Kaguya's having an unexpected sympathetic effect on the Boundary that's hitting everything beneath it. Or Komachi is just that lazy.

You know how we sometimes talk about Touhou Seven Deadly Sins? Well, don't you think Joon is a perfect fit for gluttony? Gluttony, while usually associated with food, has a more general meaning of "overconsumption of wealth and luxury items". That's literally what Joon's power does.

I think Greed is a more natural fit though.

Isn't Greed more typically a hoarding sort of wanting? You keep wanting and possessing more. Gluttony being consumption seems awfully appropriate given how quickly Jo'on burns through the money she steals (actually burning them in one move, even). She wastes them on trinkets and fleeting pleasures and probably doesn't have the sense to at least use what she buys properly. She likely switches cars on a whim very fast.

Jo'on is definitely more gluttony than the old standby, who was Yuyuko

Yeah, Greed doesn't fit as much because she's more focused on the spending part rather than the money part.

So what's the lineup now? Envy is Parsee, Wrath is Junko, and ...I think Pride is Tenshi?

Greed could be Remilia, though she seems pretty prodigal as well. What about Yukari, with all of Gensokyo as her hoard? Or Marisa, with the hoard of treasure and junk that she doesn't even care for or know the contents of?

Nitori, obviously. I don't know how I forgot that.

Nitori as Greed would fit, considering her fairly singular focus on profit-chasing since Hopeless Masquerade.

Tenshi fits well for Pride, with her current schtick of being so full of herself that she scarcely even notices when people insult her to her face. Cirno would be another good candidate.

I figure Mokou could perhaps fit Sloth, taken as a lack of care or interest in things, what with her immortality and casual regret of the same leading to her not giving much of a damn about most things, up to and including her own well-being. Reimu could also be a candidate (though she does do her duties in every game), as she seems content to try and drift through life without putting much effort into most things.

Greed is Reimu, obviously
