Tropers: Tacitus

A Troper who discovered TV Tropes sometime during the summer of '08 and now spends much of his free time punching that Random Item button. He did some quiet edits on a few videogame-related pages, tweaked the Red vs. Blue page a little, hotlinked some images in his youthful ignorance, and stuck a few of his favorite quotes from Futurama and Mystery Science Theater 3000 in places they seemed appropriate.

Then he landed on the Battlefield Earth page, and his life was changed forever...

Namesake is the Roman historian, not the MacGuffin of Tiberian Sun. Interests include history, writing, video games, political science, Warhammer 40,000, and good books. Has launched a half-dozen or so tropes including Ave Machina, Warrior Monk, Random Event, Parody Retcon, and some other stuff he's forgotten. Has made many an edit, but is particularly proud of his contributions to Warhammer 40,000's character sheet. He'll get around to finishing the overhaul of the Command & Conquer pages someday...

He's eternally grateful to TV Tropes for introducing him to Dr. McNinja, Agatha Heterodyne, Antimony Carver, Harry Dresden, That Guy with the Glasses, The Spoony One, Haruhi Suzumiya, Commissar Ciaphas Cain, the Let's Play phenomenon, LittleKuriboh, Team Four Star, ZUN, an entertainingly insane incarnation of Shinji Ikari, the inhabitants of Blood Gulch, PepTuck, squirrelking, and hopefully many more to come.

He isn't sure why he wrote this page in third person.
