Aun(n) currently has the most posts of the new characters, at 188 posts.

Narumi currently has the least posts at 97. 22 of them contain Marisa.

The Backup Dancers, Satono has 109 posts while Mai has 117 posts. 95 posts contains them both. For solo images, Satono has 7 posts while Mai has 12 posts. There are 7 images containing both of them tagged yuri. Only 55 images contain both of them without Okina.

Tanned Cirno has 361 posts.

IIRC Clarste's still translating it. Looking at raws you have a very cute Aunn and a very regal Okina.

Also looking through some raws apparently Okina can create Youkai Lifeforms?

I didn't have the WAHH 42 raws until today, and I'm currently at work. Expect the translation late tonight or tomorrow at earliest.

Okina's comment about creating youkai is referring Aunn: Aunn is a statue given life by the energies of the door placed on her back. She acts like she knows Reimu and Marisa and Kasen because she's always been at the shrine... as a statue.

All of the routes seem to have more-or-less happened. Which makes sense as a recruitment drive

Okina gives me more "mob boss" vibes than Yukari does.

EDIT: Also, Aunn's reason for why the Myouren Temple didn't have its seasons out of whack makes sense for why Clownpiece considered living there.

As I read it, I kinda noticed that Okina was drawn to look much more mature than the other characters i.e. she looks like a grown woman, similar to how Junko tends to be portrayed.

Was hoping for some Kasen-Okina interactions, but I guess that would reveal a bit too much.

Damn, Aunn is cute as hell. Although how does she know about the temple's conditions if she's the statue at the shrine? Is she the spirit of all komainu statues in Gensokyo or what? Regardless, I hope she sticks around for a while. And I get the feeling she'll be in the next fighting game after AoCF.

And wow, the tengu just gets shadier and shadier with each appearance.

About Kasen being one of the sages, I wonder if Suika and Yuugi knew about it.

I like how Reimu's reaction to meeting yet another Omniscient Being is an "Oh Great. Another one of yous."

The subplot of Tengu looking to rule Gensoukyou. I believe that was kinda foreshadowed a bit in Forbidden Scrollery? I wonder if that will have any bearing on future plots.

I wonder if Kasen's actually more powerful than she lets on. Okina's now revealed to be able to create new Youkai life easily, pretty much putting her on equal footing with at least Yukari. And I liked how Kasen immediately knew caught onto Aya's lies. But Aya seemed to be happy to establish a link between Kasen and Okina, and by now she'd know Kasen's a Sage as well.

And that line about Okina creating Youkai life kinda made me think of Kokoro for a while. After all, one of Okina's manifestations was Hata no Kawakatsu, maybe retroactively Kokoro was a result of Okina's meddling?

Would've prefered more Sage interactions, but oh well, let's hope the next one has it!

Some parts of this and some character things might go over my head, since I'm still quite unsure about many aspects of the Seasons Game. But I hope the many mentions of them here in the thread helped enough to understand the basics.

Oh wow, we're not wastin' any time with the New Char Appearances here! It's the Adorable Aunn, and her inseperable pal, the Black Arrow That Points Towards Her!

Oh nice, WAAGGHH!!!, you're actually givin' us Kasen as an Audience Surrogate (particularily, for the audience, like me, who don't have a firm grasp of Seasons), so she can be confused about the new chars and plot as well Excellent.

It's Classic Outfit Aya! Has been a while in the Mangas, I think, since we saw her like that.

My goodness, the Art Quality is off the charts for this chapter! Everyone looks so gorgeous, and the facial expressions are very detailed.

It's OKINA, THE MAJESTIC MYSTERY! THAT'S an entrance! So she's the OP Goddess the thread has been talkin' about.

"DRINK UP! THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL!" Well, in this manga, I find that pretty hilarious, but as a teetotaler in RL, that would freak me out.

Clarste, dat Back Yard Pun is quite excellent! Still kinda sad that we lost the reference to that Old Man Fairy Tale, since that did come up very recently in the Mangas.

Okina's a smooth boss, y'all. I really like her. And Aunn has a bright future ahead of her in fanworks, I hope. This is prime kawaii genki Reimu-buddy material.

This was straight up a "show EVERYONE from the game and discuss the game's plot at length"-chapter, and I loved it!

So Aunn isn't just a statue, but is the incarnate totem of all Komainu statues. That's... pretty impressive.

I wonder if that included Komainu statues in the outside world, or only in Gensokyo. It also brings up the question if she still has a spread out mind and can still see through all the eyes of the Komainu, or if her incarnation condensed her mind into her body.

Okina takes Confusion Fu to a whole new level, not just using it to achieve victory, but to find victory in the very act of confusing an opponent.

That weird triumphant smile Aya had when Kasen dropped her bombshell makes me wonder whether we can expect a Bunbunmaru exposé on a certain not-horned hermit.

Good job adapting the dialogue between Okina and Marisa, Clarste. I don't think there was any way to "translate" a joke/reference like that, but you still found a way to relate the dialogue to Okina's character.

Okay, I got curious about characterization and decided to watch Fantasy Kaleidoscope, and while the series is enjoyable, why is the translation so damned awkward? Like, is there anyone proofreading this stuff?

Like this here. Who looked at that and thought it made any kind of grammatical and structural sense?

Also, is it really necessary to put Marisa's verbal tic in the subtitles?
