A sequel would be a terrible idea. This sort of thing only works when it's a stand-alone project.
Why? A sequel could be actually prety nice.
A) Warren stated long ago that, while he did made the story work in a stand-alone manner, he planned Epic Mickey's overall story as a trilogy.
B) A sequel could be the right way to adress all (or most) of the first game's issues AND add some new interesting ideas. Lots of companies does that in my opinion.(Example, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, Sly 2, assasain's Creed 2, etc.)
C) Warren said there was stuff that was screapped, plus lots and lots of stuff in the Disney archives to work with. So it's not like it would run out of ideas.

Too lazy to have a decent sig.I would approve of a sequel, if You can play as Oswald. Does everyone remember how you can play as Luigi in Super Mario galaxy 1 if you beated mario's way 100%? I hope Warren goes for that...And with doing a game of the duck who gets dangerous.
This. A thousand times.
A MILLION times. Espesaclliy the Darkwing bit.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.Besides. Epic Mickey ends on a Sequel Hook.
A didn't Warren Spector say that a potential sequel would be about the relationship between the Shadow/Phantom Blot and True Shadow/Phantom Blot?

I'm having to learn to pay the priceWhere did you here that? Because that. sounds. amazing.
Somewhere on the forum here.
Edit: On my second playthrough of Epic Mickey (Same File. 100% Completion be damned) I went all Car Fu on The Mad Docter. Oh so satisfying to see a purple car ram into him.
I still found him easy, hell, I found him easier then when I used the thinner method (Granted that's because when I did the Thinner Method I didn't know what to do and when I did the Car Fu method someone posted the details on how to defeat him with Car Fu). I still find Captain Hook to be That One Boss
Even when I used the "Feed Hook to Tic-Tock the Croc" method I still found him to be frustratingly hard. Not as hard as the "Free the Sprite" method. But still damn hard.

I'm having to learn to pay the priceFor whoever was curious, Epic Mickey sold 1.32 million copies in North America during December 2010. Here's hoping that encourages Disney to greenlight a sequel.

Over 1 mil is quite alot.
That should be an indication that sequel might juice out some more molaah.
I'm having to learn to pay the priceWord from Neogaf is the sequel is already in the works.
Also, game was actually rushed to reach November release. Was actually going to be a post-Christmas release until execs stepped in.
Information from Neogaf should be taken with a grain of salt.
And yeah, I was rather surprised Epic Mickey didn't reach store shelves before Black Friday...
—R.J.
I do hope for a sequel, although I'm still not done with the first (yeah, I'm taking my time). Playable Oswald? Sign me up!
"Religion isn't the cause of wars, it's the excuse." —Mycroft NextWho else is looking forward to Oswald's proper return to the Disney canon?
<3Define "proper return to Disney canon". There were guys in Oswald suits wandering around Disneyland ASAP after the trade. They were selling Oswald plushies ASAP. The Oswald Disney Treasures set was put out.
Or do you mean "included in the next Mouse of House-style ensemble show"?
I never saw any pics of those supposed Oswald walkarounds. Though we are actually getting Oswald and Pete in the parks later this year.
Random question; Do you think that there are other Wastelands? Like ones for movies, anime, cartoons, or books? And what would be there?
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.I'm not sure... I mean, Disney cartoons had Yen Sid to look after them, apparently. If other media / genres have someone to take care of them, I'm sure there are some.
"Religion isn't the cause of wars, it's the excuse." —Mycroft NextSome interesting concept art has popped up on the dA page of one of the artists. That scapper Mickey is horrifying
Most of that concept artwork looks like they were heading towards an E10 rating. I find it interesting that there's a piece of art with an Evil Oswald.
There were two evil Oswalds, one of which was completely merged with the Blot.
I'm personally glad they never went with that. Oswald being a total psycho and becoming such a terrifying monster would be going overboard.
That concept art is pretty interesting. Looking at the one were Mickey channels paint through his hand, I'm kinda glad they decided to go with the paintbrush idea.
Also, scrapper mickey looks incredibly freakey.

Too lazy to have a decent sig.
The trick is to put the TV down, Clock Sketch, Anvil down, Clock sketch, and then run to the other platform as quickly as possible. Took me a long time to figure that out... -_-"
So, the all important question. Is there going to be a sequal, and if there is, what will it be about? Discuss.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.
