This is a thread for people who will not be or have not been on the site for a while, whether due to real life or to resist an internet addiction, the latter of which is encouraged within reason. Also, talk about the benefits/whatever of taking a day or a weekend off, or things to do when not online. TV Tropes ruining your life is nothing to be proud of.
Generally, expect the following from this thread:
- People announcing their departure or return.
- Moderators announcing a significant forum ban — not trolls or vandals, but someone people will notice and miss.
- Inquiries about an absent troper.
- Responses to inquiries about an absent troper.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe tool's used over in TRS and IP to try and keep the discussions going in a timely manner, if I understand correctly.
Quoting the fox lady: "This is stalled. Get off your duffs and get it moving, or forfeit all the progress that's already been made" is what it's supposed to say.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYeah, the clock says "arrive at a conclusion and do what you decided to do or this thread will be locked with no further action taken." The point is to drive people to not abandon discussions they've started/participated in in TRS or IP. This thread is not supposed to have a clock; it's there by accident, and I'm probably the one at fault. Anyway, don't worry about it.

Dude, that was totally uncalled for.

So how old are you turning? 110?

I'd rather be turning 6 than 110...
