Any IMVU users here who play Farmandia?

I realize Farmandia is technically a "plaything" and not really a game (since there's no condition of loss), but still this seems like the right forum for this.

IMVU wants me to make friends so I can turn caterpillars into butterflies on their farms and water their crops. I don't really want to make random friends just for the purposes of furthering my fun on a time-waster like Farmandia, but I figured maybe I could find at least one troper who's also on Farmandia, and there you go.

So please let me know. My account there is Zaniidor (Kilyle was taken), and I think you have to go guest_Zaniidor or something because it keeps adding that when I sign in.

Considering that IMVU itself seems to be one of those things you're not allowed to like on this site, probably nobody.

Is IMVU something like Second Life, with just as much porn?

From what I read, I have the impression that IMVU is something like Gaia Online with Uncanny Valley 3D avatars and a very dubious management.

Any internet game with as much advertising as IMVU should probably be avoided.

I haven't ever played any non-game avatar things before, so I haven't any basis for comparison. It appears to be a way of chatting using comic-book-realistic 3d avatars, catering to the sex chat or "seeking relationships" crowd (despite having a "just want to chat" setting there, it would appear at a casual glance that this isn't where their attention is focused).

I'm not really into it, but Farmandia got me interested enough to stick around for a bit. Lots of detailed plants to grow and some neat cartoony animals as well. The only thing that's weirded me out so far is that you can repeatedly harvest animals for meat without ever killing them.
