Eh. I have nothing that can't be replaced.

For me, it mostly comes down to "will be very tedious" to replace, like the Fate Stay Night visual novel, which I will have to re-acquire over the period of, probably, a few months, and then do the entire Fate route over again so that I can unlock UBW route again. And some other things.

But no, mostly it'll just be tedious and take goddamn forever.

It takes a few months to download a VN? And it doesn't have a skip function?

For terabyte storage I am sure that Carbonite and Idrive do. No idea about Dropbox.

Idrive lets you have 5gig free. Oddly enough, that is all I need for writing and such.

Dropbox gives you 2.5 GB for free, 1 TB for ten bucks American per month or a hundred a year.

In other news, I got a hold of the new Super Smash Bros. And yes, it's really fun. Few too many people spamming the same move over and over, but other then that, its pretty good. My record online is appalling though.

@rik: FSN is something on the order of 2.4 GB. I have to get it in 200 MB chunks. And I have limited bandwidth at home, which means that if I want to get more than one part at a time (like, say, more than one in a week or so), it's gonna mean using a public computer or heading to someone else's place to use their internet. And yes, FSN does let you skip scenes you've already seen. But with the entire folder - saves included - gone, then I'll have to put autoscroll on for the entire Fate route.

OM, I've recently had an idea and was wondering if I can borrow the concept of Unequally Mundus Magicus from you?

We have a few archetypes, but they fit to the character:

Well we have two 'normal' characters. Two n00bs, one of whom is a human fighter and the other's a sky druid. Not worried about them

However, four of my closest friends have it in for me. Three of them are kitsunes

One is a kitsune witch who doesn't 'believe' in disguising as a human. (S)he enjoys going around and using people's reactions to her vulpine nature as an excuse to prank the shit out of them.

Another is an inquisitor to Asmodeous, IE the fucking devil. He's LE, but hides it by having a wolf follow him around and pretend to be a druid. That's not gonna last.

Third one is an alchemist. Specifically, someone who is SO OBSESSED with her bombs, she immediately uses them in battle, and she doesn't have the ability to select her targets with splash damage.

FINALLY, there's my last friend, who has gone full-on Broodmaster Squirrel Summoner. His entire 'hat' is that he summons squirrels, either his two insane squirrel edilons, or as many squirrel swarms as he can manage with Summon Monster. Oh and his CHARACTER slowly becomes more mentally unhinged the stronger his edilons get.

And he's gonna use a voice synthesizer to give himself a high-pitched voice for the squirrels.

The guy's a bit more like Xanatos if he worshiped the devil and didn't mind killing things. I've already told him his alignment does not justify Party Kills

Is he giving them boosts before "tossing" them into combat?

My roommate was telling me stories of Bixby, the cat his party used to add buffs to. then set on fire before tossing him into a room full of monsters. The would then shut the door, and pray he didn't come out and kill them.

This was the party that somehow had a weasel stealing party items and selling them for drugs.

The guys were talking about abilities and they discovered two things

1: Alchemists can surgically insert their bombs into living things

2: There's a crossobow that can fire splash weapons instead of bolts.

Not only that, the summoner's two MAIN edilons, Tippy and Flippy are effectively going to be Norbert and Dagatt from Angry Beavers respectively. And Flippy is going to keep trying to steal shit and hide it in his cheek pouches

Edit: Rereading the URAE Kyoto arc to make sure I don't make continuity mistakes while writing the new chapters, I'm finally reminded of how funny it was to write some of that big battle stuff. Like the demons of all people saying Batman had to be an urban legend, and all that wacky stuff.
