"How often do you chance upon a doppleganger? It would be a wasted opportunity to kill me if the ability of my species is lost upon death, but keeping me alive... It would present you the opportunity to study myself as a member of the doppleganger race, but more importantly it would present a scientifically inclined mind such as yourself an even greater discovery - the secret to my immortality. Though it would be no skin off my back as I would simply return in another form and in another place," Philosopher smiled as his shape morphed into that of the witch's.
It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble.I enter the tunnel at the end of the room.

Roll To Dodge: Savral Turn 172
First time posts for this session require you to state a race and class of a Dnd/Fantasy RPG variety. This is an RTD with some continuity and I want to make sure you don't show up with space-themed stuff when that doesn't fit with the general theme. I also recommend reading through my previous posts to get a sense of how I run things and some of the things you don't want to do. You'll also get a sense of the stuff that's going on by doing so.
Blackie (1,3->2); Edgar (2->3,2->3): You try puking into his eyes, but due to the position that you landed in, the puke gets into your eyes instead. You try reaching out your claw hand to slice at Edgar’s neck, but you claw at thin air. You hear the beast make a few heavy steps. You feel one of Edgar’s axes slice your crab claw arm off. Shortly after, he grabs hold of you, and then starts smashing your body into the ground. You’ll probably die soon if you don’t flee now.
Kilgore Trout (6): You obtain one of the torches from the wall and dry to look down the halls and the staircases. The halls seem to go on and on, but then they both turn away from each other. You’ll probably need to walk down either the halls or the stairs to see further down.
You then notice the fire from the torch rapidly spread down it. It appears that you are on fire. You also try not to think of what happened beforehand, but you can’t help but think about how much Cathy and her underlings have abused you, even though you have never seen her in person.
BC The Entity (2): “BC, why do you think I’d do something like that, huh? You know how much of a wonderful and nice person I am, right. But I guess if you don’t want to spend some quality time with me, that’s fine. Have fun!”
Cathy suddenly disappears, and you find yourself frozen in place. The large tentacle returns to normal, and then wraps itself around you. You feel as though a thousand needles are plunging into your body, and you soon find all the moisture being sucked out of you. You died. Respawn?
Yoloisfox (6): The midgets surrounding you, aside from the explorer, scream a collective “Ohhhhhhh!”
The midget explorer simply looks on in shock, but then quickly steps up to you, “Oh yeah? Well lets see you take a bite out of this!”
She suddenly conjures out an enormous golden spiked ball and chain and smashes it into you.
“You think you’re tough shit, huh? I think it’s time you received some major ass-whooping, you shitty nooblord!”
You have officially pissed off the Midget Explorer.
Moocow (Free): You praise Cathari Sarad. After a few seconds, a health potion appears in front of you. You pick it up. You can use this thing as a free action.
“Okay now, here’s your free goodie bag. Just don’t go abusing my prayers, got it?”
Philosopher (6): Schierke steps back for a moment and scratches her chin. “I suppose I coult try somethink like that. FERY VELL, LET US BEGIN ZEE EXPERIMENTAL PROCEDURE!”
A pair of golems emerge from behind the curtain, one of which seems to be carrying a vial containing some sort of grayish liquid. The MAD SCIENTIST then pours it down your throat. You black out.
Suddenly you find yourself being overwhelmed by a surge of electricity. For a brief moment, you find yourself lying on some sort of dentist’s seat, with a number of wires strapped to you. You also see Schierke levitating in the air in front of you, electricity running through her body as well. “YESS! YESS! I KAN FEEL ZEE POVER FLOVINK WISIN ME! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
You have gained Schierke’s Pact.
Eventually, your body burns out with the amount of electricity flowing within you. You died. Respawn?
Cybersbe (5): You head on through the tunnel at the end of the room. You enter into a larger chamber where you see a number of furnaces stacked around the center, with more tools laying around them. Another pile of ore seems to be stacked on the back left end of the room. There are three additional tunnels going out. The one veering off left seems to lead into a sort of prison area. The one to your right seems to head to some sort of dining and cooking area. The tunnel up ahead turns a bit right after heading straight ahead, but you can see the light of day reflected off some of the rock.
Jondanger 23 (1,4); Orangutan Chieftain (6): This music seems oddly appropriate for this battle. The Orangutan chieftain lets out a loud shriek, and the elephant charges over you. As it comes toward you, you throw your wrench into the elephant’s right eye, bloodying it. The elephant then smashes into you with its trunk, gores you with one of its tusks, and flings you to the side. You fall face flat onto the ground. As you struggle to get yourself back up, you see the elephant run into a few of the trees, smashing into it. It struggles to free itself. The orangutan lifts up its totem staff and directs its fellow simians to attack you. They quickly surround you, and begin beating on their chests. You see your wrench close by.

What is this "signature" of which people speak?Oh, Crap! The burning the buuurrrnniiiing!
If I have any spells that will get rid of this fire I'll cast one of those, followed by another healing spell. Otherwise I'll just run back out of this room to where there are no flames and try to stop, drop and roll.
I'm kind of damp now, aren't I? It strikes me as a bit odd that I'm so flammable, although I realize you do make the laws of this universe. Maybe things catch on fire here that wouldn't in Real Life.
Go to the lake, sword and hammer at the ready.
Race: Doppelganger
Class: Gunslinger
Spawn in an adventures' guild.
It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble.Try to respawn... I guess somewhere else in Sfal? Maybe somewhere where a goddamn invincible witch isn't going to murder me unavoidably not only due to her being leagues above every other player character, but also because the dice hate me and refuse to let me get a break. What did I expect to happen, right, it's not like I can ever get good rolls at the moments I'm actually in danger of dying horribly.

Undying Phoenix (6): You run away from the infested marines, having the arbiter follow along behind you, deeper and deeper into the forest.
Suddenly, you feel something lift up from underneath you and pull you up into the trees. You now seem to be trapped in a rope net. A few minutes later, you see a number of grayish-blue skinned mermen gather around. They look at you with puzzled expressions on their faces. A few of them poke you with wooden sticks.
“It’s the invisible monkey!”
“We must sacrifice him to the great Haluha!”
Blackie (1,2); Edgar (2->3,1->2): You struggle to worm your way out of Edgar’s grasp, but since you are a bit of a weakling, you cannot break free. You feel Edgar’s palm squeeze into you. You died. Respawn?
Jondanger 23 (6); Orangutan Chieftain (4): You swiftly crawl away from the squad of orangutans. While the chieftain does lob a blast of magical energy at you, burning off some of your skin, you manage to get away mostly unnoticed. You continue crawling away, hoping to say out of the orangutans’ reach.
You then feel numerous stings all over you. When you look around, you see a large swarm of ants all around you, which seems to extend for miles.
Moocow (3): You attempt to cast detect magic on the totem. Based on the results of your spell, you know the totem is magical, but you do not know what sort of enchantment it possesses. You may need to try using it to see what it does.
Cybersbe (1): You step forward to examine the tools, but then you hear a voice speak from behind you. “Going somewhere?”
You turn around. It is Jadice. She chuckles as you instinctively back away into one of the furnaces, setting your left hand on fire.
“Did you really think you could escape a witch like me? I do quite enjoy the thrill of the hunt.”
She takes a few steps closer, and you dash out toward the wall behind you, close to the tunnel opposite from where you entered.
She slowly draws out her glowing sword. “You’ve been a very bad boy.”
Kilgore Trout (3,2): A: I didn’t really think through that when I wrote it. B: The fire is octarine, so it doesn’t necessarily have the same behaviors as normal fire. You cast a spell that douses water on you. The flames diminish, but you are still severely burned. You try healing yourself, but it doesn’t seem to be having any effect.
Black Mage Anolis (4): You head off to the lake up ahead, holding your armaments at ready. It seems to be filled with a chocolate liquid, and you see several pink bunnies about your size drinking from it. They all turn to face you when you walk by. You also see the road curve around the lake and enter back into the forest, which begins to grow darker as you look further ahead.
Philosopher (2): Adventurer guilds do not exist in the world of Savral, at least not at this moment in time. Either way, you are now a doppelganger gunslinger. You regain your assault rifle and pistols, but you lose your ability to resurrect corpses and whatnot. You come with the same basic starting equipment as usual.
You find yourself standing high up in the mountains. The sky above is covered with purplish clouds, with orange streaks of light breaking in here and there. The land beyond the mountains is nothing but lifeless ash, with dead husks of trees here and there. A few mountains nearby have entrances to caves, and you can see something of a circular stone fortress a mile or so ahead. On one of the higher plateaus, you see the ruins of a village.
BC The Entity (6): You are now a vine elemental monk. While retaining many of the stats from before, you now specialize in beating down your enemies with unarmed attacks.
You find yourself suspended in some strange, foul-smelling liquid, with some sort of umbilical cord attached to you. You stretch up, and break through the strange, cocoon-like structure you were in. You seem to be in a large chamber, with numerous other fleshy, vein-covered cocoons surrounding you. The walls are covered with some sort of fleshy membrane, with spiraling unicorn horn-like structures protruding out of it. Every few seconds, the membrane pulses inward, much like a heart. You also see many tube-like protrusions raised up from the rest of the organ-like membrane, snaking every which way and that. You see a small pool of some pinkish liquid forming just inside the ring of cocoons. There are two tunnels going out, one straight ahead, and one off to the right. You feel strangely tired and sluggish, and you can no longer sense the world’s magic flowing around you.
A series of veins and arteries shoot out from the middle of the floor, and a tumor-like mass forms at the end, morphing into the shape of Louise’s head.
“Hiya Mister Manslave! I see you’ve come to visit me again! Don’t you just love rolling around inside of me? I’m very soft, and very squishy! Why don’t you take a look around? Anyway, I gotta go! Bye-bye!”
The appendage descends back into the rest of the organic tissue. You are inside Louise. Magic has been temporarily suspended while you are inside of her.
Yoloisfox (2); Midget Explorer (5,1): You attempt to rush the Midget Explorer with your axe, but she simply levitates out of your reach. “Ha! You are such a nooblord! You must taste my pro-elite skillz!”
She raises one of her arms up, and a crack of lightning strikes you, throwing you back. The other midgets laugh at you.

...oh.
Oh my shit.
Well, this is certainly a bit of a mess, isn't it? I've just started existing, and I'm... well, inside a witch. Huh.
MOTHERFUCKER! THIS IS THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT I WANTED! GOD DAMN IT!
And I have a very angry voice in my head, too. Ooookay then.
Oh yeah, like I like being stuck with you either!
Well, I have no reason to dislike you, angry voice. Yet. But, erm... I suppose the first order of business is removing that umbilical cord attached to me. I do that, or at least try to, and then take a look at the other cocoons. Maybe there are other beings inside them who I can free. Assuming they're not horribly angry witch and/or unicorn slaves, like the entities who fought all those previous incarnations of myself, specifically the angry elf wizard who's currently talking in my head.
I'm badly injured, my magic isn't working, I'm lost...everything's hopeless.
Well, there is one thing that might work. I start praying to Cathy. Even though I wouldn't be in this predicament if it wasn't for her, I beg her to help her humble servant. I promise to do anything she tells me, willingly, without her having to force me into it. Absolutely anything she wants, if only she'll help me.
Yes. Dwarven Moonshiner with crabhand.
I run away from the swarm of ants.
I use the totem
Coriander Hasp, Excrucian Deceiver at your serviceReally...from one trap to the next. Let's try to summon an African elephant on top of them!
Not her again...
