I'll take too little exposition over too much any day. There's usually enough that you can tell what's going on even if you are slightly confused.

I guess it is.Whelp, that's it for Turn A.
The only series I have left to watch are Victory, X , and Seed Destiny. Is any one more deserving of my attention than the others? Or should I go with an OAV next?
I haven't seen any of those series, but I've seen a couple of the OVAs: 08th MS Team is excellent, and 0083 is pretty good as well. (0080 was kinda meh.)

I guess it is.I obviously disagree with the last one. 0080 is so far my favorite of the Gundam series.
It is one of the best at getting the anti-war themes out. A low amount of flashy giant robot action is just a consequence of that...
My troper wall's now my troper page, yay!I think my biggest problem with it was the massive reliance on Poor Communication Kills, which is a trope that tends to annoy me even when it's done realistically.

I guess it is.The mech combat is really secondary to me anyway. I mean, if I really cared about quality battles, I wouldn't have watched and enjoyed the first Gundam.
No matter how many times I see it, I keep thinking the Zeta Gundam eyecatch is something happening in the actual show...
I guess it is.So episode 8 introduces a Haro. I guess this series doesn't avoid Cute Kids And Robots entirely after all. Also, there's the first mention (in this series) of Axis, and Char disagreeing with his superiors...somehow I have a feeling that things are about to get worse.

I guess it is.Just wait until Shinta and Qum show up.
And, word of warning, Katz is coming back.
Katz?
Edit: I didn't expect Kai to come back. He was one of my favourite characters in 0079 though, so I'm not complaining.

I guess it is.Katz, as in Katz Letz and Kitka, who, along with Haro filled the 0079 Cute Kids And Robots quotient.
It's possible it's spelled with an 's' instead of a 'z.'
I love Kai. He's such a jerk. *pats him on the head*
A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!@Arsidias: Oh, I see. Kikka is the only one of the kids I can ever remember the name of, for some reason.
I guess it is.Heh. Mirai's daughter just delivered what may well be the first ever use of the line "It's a Gundam!"

I guess it is.Refresh my memory, did she say that about Psycho Gundam?
She was talking about Kamille's Mk II, actually.
I guess it is.Why are most characters in the Gundamverse are immensely broken pilots for example Setsunator, Jesus Yamato and the already famous Whie Devil himself?
Because newtype?
I guess it is.Newtypes and Coordinators are really broken.
Question, having nothing to do with anything previously written in this thread: Is rewatching Gundam 00 with my father, who has seen very little anime but is generally interested in military/action stuff, a good idea?
Flora Segunda | World Made By Hand | Monster Blood Tattoo ^You should read these series.Watch 0079 instead. I'd imagine you know your father's tastes better than anyone else here. Do you think he'd enjoy it?

I guess it is.Well all I can say was that we had a discussion on vacation, and I tried to summarize 00 briefly and asked "Would you be interested in watching that?" and it turned out that all the while he thought I was describing something I'd written. So I kind of gave up, and we're just going to watch Rebuild of Evangelion together, which I am getting in Blu-Ray for my birthday.

The08th MS Team might not be a better place to start. It's generally described as a 'nam movie with Humongous Mecha. That said, you could do worse than 00 based on what you've described about your father.

So, eight episodes left of Turn A. I'm getting there.
Is it just me, or does Gundam as a whole have a serious problem with exposition? I'm still not clear on what a Mountain Cycle is, and without supplementary material Will Game's entire story arc is impossible to understand.
