New Gundam Breaker has also been announced. I hope it'll feature playable SD Gundams this time around.

The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.I'm still really disappointed that Gundam Versus has literally no plot or campaign or anything whatsoever. I'm on the franchise page and hearing about things like Gundam Vs. Zeta Gundam having "What If?" Scenarios and, you know, a plot makes me really disappointed.

Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...I mean, Extreme Vs Force had a story mode, or at least a framing device. It was a bit barebones but it was something and it greatly improved my enjoyment of the game.

Versus (2017) doesn't even have that.

Versus 2017 does have a single-player mission mode, but it's rather anemic. Ten total missions, maybe a couple hours of playtime, if that. No story, just "here, fight these dudes".
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien. What I've figured about Gundam Versus is that the focus was more on the gameplay rather than the "story". They might add a Story Mode in a future update, but with the growing backlash towards Story Modes in fighting games, I honestly doubt it.

The only backlash against story modes in fighting games I've heard of is Soul Calibur V, and that was backlash about a shitty story mode in a series that generally has great single-player modes.

Both Street Fighter V and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite have received major criticism for their story modes, as have the later BlazBlue games (At least, I know that Chronophantasma received backlash, not to certain on Central Fiction). Also I think I saw something (might've been a headline for an article on EventHubs) that asked a question as to whether or not story modes for fighting games are necessary.

The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.People weren't complaining about Blazblue having a story mode, they were complaining about how the story was progressing.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"And Infinite got bashed because the story had no effort compared to Injustice or MKX.
That's the Arcade Mode. The Extreme Vs games had other missions aside from that.
Honestly, I'm not really fussed about Gundam Versus lacking a "story mode," as long as I have fun messing around with Mobile Suits.

Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...And that's your opinion and I respect that.
But for me it's kinda sad to see a series gradually lose features and for a licensed game to completely ignore the story and effectively the characters they're licensing. I wouldn't be here if I didn't like these stories (bitching about Destiny notwithstanding) so having them dropped to... not even to the backdrop, but entirely ignored is just a waste.

Hop on over to this page and add them.On the subject of stories, playing through DW Gundam 3, and I can say Scirocco is the perfect parody of “woke” Hollywood celebrities that use virtue signaling to disguise their abuse...except he was made 30 years before the fact.
Seriously. He pulls the Woke Feminist bit on EVERYONE, and by the end Audrey is just “Jesus, does anyone actually believe this guy?”
Yes, and that's all I'm going to say.
You gotta start somewhere. Its kinda weird seeing him be the most reasonable guy in the game. Its hilarious when he's being reasonable amongst the likes of Char "Depressed old rival" Aznable, Fucking Ribbons, Gym Ghingham who's just there to punch people in the dick and Yazan Gable.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowWould it be alright for us to take the time to talk about custom Gunpla builds we found around the internet? Because oh boy, do I wanna gush about The Devil King of the Sixth Heaven!
This guy has the appearance of an evil overlord, with what I assume is his familiar looming behind him. The "familiar" has an intense, bestial aura about him, and if the Devil King in question (If that is what the other Gundam is) does have his weapons draw out with the familiar out, I assume that it's meant to envoke the final battle of a JRPG or something. The dark colors, the use of multiple kits like Moah's Crossbone Gundam and the Phantom, the unique idea of giving a Gundam a Persona/Stand-like "familiar", it all meshes together so well that I would love to see what it looks like in action.
In one of the pictures in the link, this Diorama seems to be standing next to two trophies, and if it won them, it was for damn good reason. Major props to Airou_MH for this one.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.I believe it’s a reference to the... memorable interpretation of Oda Nobunaga from Sengoku Basara. Imagine this blaring in the background when you look at that.
What's precedent ever done for us?I have a stupid question.
So, I've seen it in some promo art, like the cover of Dynasty Warriors Gundam, and obviously it's something you can pose the model kits to do, but...
Does anyone know if, anywhere in the original series, if the RX-78 Gundam ever dual wielded its beam sabers? Or was it just a backup?
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"Oh yeah, it did that quite a lot.
If a mobile suit has multiple melee weapons, it’s probably going to use them all at once a few times.
What's precedent ever done for us?It is one of the RX-78-2's moves in the Gundam Vs Series.
Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...Yeah it happened quite a bit. Quite a few Gundams dual wield the original, Nu, Turn A, Freedom, AGE, and Exia/00 all come to mind.
Where you getting that?
