Second, what exactly powers the Archangel?
As far as the Archangel, its engines are inertial confinement thrusters (which uses a nuclear fusion reaction, and thus is not affected by n-jammers), but as far as I'm aware it's never been spelled out what it uses to generate power.

Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.@Frozen Wolf
Yep, and that's why I couldn't stand her even before the business with Scirocco. She's a Faux Action Girl of the worst order, supposedly good at her chosen profession, but a failure in practice.
In regards to the numerous Audrey Hepburn references generated by Mineva in Unicorn, here's an excerpt from the novels:
Speaking of which, she did watch a romantic movie about a princess in a small country who slipped out onto the streets for a day of happiness. It was an old century film. The story was ordinary, but the actress who acted as a princess who did not know anything was really charismatic, and it was a movie she really liked. What was the name of that actress?
Thinking about it hard, the girl suddenly realized that she was seriously thinking of the actress’ name. She abandoned the useless dream behind her. The princess in the movie was just leaving a boring duty, but she had something she had to do.

Oh god, they actually did the Destiny's swordtip-charge there!
Really original there, Fukuda...
So we have a Tomino series, Build Fighters and a Seedling series airing at the same time. I wonder if someone at Sunrise made a bet to see which sells more.
I don't remember SEED having fanservice so awkward that even the roomful of otaku at the preview screening made fun of it, a largely untested staff, or a graphic anal rape scene in the first episode. I would be surprised if Cross Ange is the big winner of the mecha shows this season, and it would not be a pleasant surprise.
What's precedent ever done for us?was there lemon-flavored lubricant involved?
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams!Wow, there's even a SEED style 'naked people floating towards each other' with a Kira clone.

Cross Ange looks terrible...
@Ange: whut.
Can we please get back on-topic?
Cross Ange definitely seems to be pushing SEED's Coordinator / Natural racist dynamic, only to insane and graphic levels with first hand atrocities. I am serious when saying it is SEED 3.0.
Karma though better be a bitch in this series though.
alright nvm.
So back to Zeta? Umm Reccoa is an attention whore who does everything in the series to try to get a guy to look at her while Emma is the polar opposite where she does what she does and does not want attention.

alright nvm.
Thanks. Starting up a new thread on Cross Ange. Feel free to discuss that there.
EDIT: Thread completed. Go here for anything Cross Ange-related.

Say what you want about Seed, but that is one pretty awesome intro. (Gundam shows tend to have good ones in general, though, still, Seed is one of my faves)
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntINVOKE is bitchin' indeed, but I still prefer IGNITED.
Semi-speaking of Zeta Gundam, does it have an official dub?

Yup, though from my experience, you might be better off avoiding it. Whoever voiced Kamille draws out the whinyness and stubborness of the character, and amplifies them to the point where they are essentially the only real character traits that Dub!Kamille has, or if he has any others, you can hardly notice them over the Wangst. I've heard his Japanese voice though, and while it still sounds a bit angsty, it at least doesn't make you want to tear Kamille's throat out.

Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundIs it the same guy who voices Kamille in Dynasty Warriors Gundam?
Nope. Dynasty Warriors!Kamille is voiced by Travis Milne. Zeta Gundam!Kamille, on the other hand, is voiced by one Jonathan Stewart. (Who I was surprised to find did not voice Gainer in another Tomino series, King Gainer, despite Kamille and Gainer's dub voices sounding almost exactly the same, or at least giving off the same general results.)
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundI'd disagree, at least to an extent. Yes, Kamille, regardless of the voice actor, is kind of a brat — a 16 year old brat, nonetheless — but that isn't quite as evident with his original JP voice as it is with his English dub. The JP voice gets the character across, but it at least doesn't want to make you clock the little bastard. The dub, on the other hand...

Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundI...rather have trouble understanding how his voice would make me not want to clean his clock.
Nous restons ici.True, but the English voice only makes one want to do so all the more.

The Zeta dub is decent. SEED's dub was better, as was Wing's, but I liked a lot of the voices in Zeta, including Kamille. Then again, I apparently am in the minority of thinking Kamille was awesome while this forum is littered with the usual hatedom.
The greatest fault of the Zeta dub for me was a relative lack of diversity for voices, You will hear the same voices in a lot of minor roles. But that is a problem with most Gundam series dubs.
I would show you a clip but Zeta dub stuff won't last more than a second on YT.

I meant the power source, not the engines. It cannot be batteries because it's not limited and it cannot be nuclear because Neutron Jammers. That leaves pretty much nothing.
Or is it possible to counteract the NJ effect with sufficient amounts of shielding? It would be internally consistent with two additional factors: the amount of shielding required is way too big to allow nuclear reactors to be miniaturized enough for mobile suits, much less serve as a casing for nuclear warheads - and it must be built into the reactor and cannot be just bolted onto an existing one that wasn't designed for it, hence why there's an energy crisis on Earth.
In this case, the NJC isn't revolutionary because it nullifies NJ, it's revolutionary because it does so in a very compact way.
