Huh. Wonder how this'll go.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more! Please, please, please have a Wii version...
Discover the rest as the game progresses.Wonder if it'll start with that kidnapping?
And I wonder if he'll do a Bag of Spilling for Raz (somehow, I don't know how. I mean, beating the game required every power), let him keep all the powers and add new ones, or introduce a new protag.
I have a message from another time...Just because all the powers were required last time 'round doesn't mean they will be this time.
Think of how Banjo-Tooie did it. Yes, you still had all your old powers, but they weren't always useful anymore—you needed to find new ones.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaYeah, Raz should keep all his old powers and get new ones. What do you speculate the story will be lik?
Start with that kidnapping. Get us to it with some action.
I have a message from another time...Hopefully there will be no Xen Syndrome this time.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more! Here, Heartless Mushroom:
Maybe this time Microsoft won't decide to abandon the game to Majesco. :p
Jonah FalconPlease please please let this happen.
Underneath the bridge The tarp has sprung a leak And the animals I've trapped have all become my petsI agree with wanting me a Wii version dangit. I should replay the original sometime soon and bask in the deliciousness.

"Only now, after being besieged by a flock of talking ponies, did he really understand what he'd lost. "A Wii version would be interesting. You could point and psi-blast, grab and fling stuff in a manner similar to but better than Crystal Chronicles, etc.
The Wii would probably be the right console to put it on, in addition to the PC, is what I'm saying.
I have a message from another time...Please put it on the Wii. I'd be a happy person if that happens.
Uh...just because he wants to doesn't mean he will or can. That's not news that he wants to make another Psychonauts. He also wants to make another Brutal Legend, but it's still not coming out.
He WANTED to a year ago.
Now he's READY to, which means a whole different thing. "Okay, my dev team has nothing to do. Send us money and we'll start work."
Jonah FalconThat doesn't mean "Psychonauts 2 is ready to go" and the problems with the sequel had nothing to do with Tim Schaefer refusing to make one.
Who knows if Psychonauts 2 Will happen at all. Heck other than this and brutal legend, fans have been asking for a Conker's bad fur day sequel. But it wont happen at all.
Yeah as much as I love Psychonauts and would like to see a sequel, I really don't see what publisher would think supporting a sequel to "the greatest game no one played" is a good investment idea.
Isn't this Atlus USA's entire business model?
So clearly, Schaeffer needs to relocate to Japan and get Atlus to localize it!
Or better yet, do a Wii port of the original!
...Hey, a girl can dream.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaIn all seriousness, I also would seriously question if Double Fine actually owns the IP to Psychonauts or if the original publisher still has it.
Furthermore, JAF, you've claimed that a very vague comment is a sign that Schaefer is shopping the game around, but the source article claims no such thing despite being equally as sensational. It's a rather obnoxious trend in the gaming press to try and claim "exclusive announcements" out of statements exactly like this one. Even your thread title is trying to make it appear as if Psychonauts 2 is in development with a publisher and release schedule, when in reality all we have is...Tim Schaefer really wants to make it.
Tim Schafer is ready to develop Psychonauts 2.
