Just finished reading 087. It is dark, I am alone, and I can hear something moving outside the window.

I wonder if, somewhere, there is a database of blurry and indistinct images for usage in SCPs and Loch Ness shit.

I've always wondered how they get all these awesome pictures.

/x/, I'd imagine. I remember seeing an image on a black hole SCP later in a Cracked article about weird architecture.

/x/, Google Image Search, random stuff one finds in odd places... A lot of these articles just start as some mildly creepy image someone found, then an idea takes off.

I've always wondered, what would happen if you inserted a coin attached to a string into SCP-261?

Good news, everybody!

http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-245761/a-sad-day

One of the most notable contributors went all apeshit and decided to delete all his contributions from the site! Said contributor? Fishmonger, author of SCP-808 (Alice the Technopath), the "Wanderlust" series and other popular tales and SCPs.

Thankfully I managed to retrieve most of his stuff through Google Cache. I've got almost everything, except for the following:  list

Got any idea where to put them so that people can experience them? (apart from megaupload)

randomguy 9: Probably something like a can of carbon monoxide, eventually.

Korodzik: Not sure, but it might be best to check with the author's wishes first. Perhaps at a later date.

It's things like this that make me wonder if I should've let myself fall out of the loop this far.

Sorry, I meant that in response to the "author's wishes" part. He's already terminated his Wiki Dot account; it seems pretty clear from the record that he has no desire that his work with the Foundation continue to exist, and if he changes his mind in the future I expect it will be rather difficult to contact him.

Ah yes. Well the fact still remains... he seemed pretty big on pulling the lawyer card out as he was removed, so I doubt he's going to want his writings posted up somewhere.

The fact that his writings were under a commons license and thus couldn't really do much with a lawyer there is besides the point.

I keep wanting to see more ideas for items dispensed by SCP-268.

My favorite item vended by it so far has to be the item dispensed when someone inserted 9001 yen.

I kinda wonder what would come out if someone put in 666 yen...

Awesomely random and randomly awesome. My anime list.

I've always wondered, what would happen if you inserted a coin attached to a string into SCP-261?

If its a modern vending machine then it would detect the string and refuse to accept the coin until the string is removed.

Like the time someone inserted a counterfeit 500-yen coin and got a bag full of poisoned gummi hands with their middle fingers extended?

Or the time someone inserted two euro coins modified to be the exact same size as yen coins and got a box that spewed out a lump of metal at high velocity?

Read 087 as well. Jesus. Number three in particular got me, but two was close. What do you suppose happened in the EXPUNGED 4? One foot through the door, face is there, bellows, "OUT YA INGRATES!" and throws the poor mook back out?

My take on what happened in the fourth installment was you had a manifestation outside of the stairwell, possibly with multiple fatalities.

I have as many names as there are winds, as many titles as there are ways to die.
