I think Megami Tensei wiki has categories for that.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!I've got a Raiho stuffed toy watching over me as I use my computer

Your momma's so dumb she thinks oral sex means talking dirty. So after checking out the SMT's entry on Vishnu, (I've been reading up on my Hindu mythology lately,) I came across this little tidbit:
You know, I'd heard about the whole 'many religions had some sort of great flood or another' thing before, but I never knew it was that bloody transparent.

Pretty much every culture in west-central Asia and southern Europe has a flood myth. Some historians think there may indeed have been a giant flood in the Mediterranean region in some prehistoric age that all of them were based on.
Yeah, I know that. I just didn't think most of them involved some deity warning someone to get himself and a bunch of animals on a giant ship before the Earth became a big-arse pond. I thought that bit was a Abraham-exclusive thing, never mind the flooding in general.
Wasn't there some theory that the Mediterranean used to be a smaller inland sea that flooded thousands of years ago? That would explain why so many people in the Old World have stories about it.
Huh, so the thing about the Chimera originally being a symbol of the seasons originated with Robert Graves, a poet and mythologist who's generally considered kind of a quack nowadays. Go figure.

Dunno how fraudulent he may be but I know he's famous like Edith Hamilton, Campbell, and Bulfinch.
From what I read about Graves, other mythologists criticized him strongly for reading between the lines too much and constantly seeing connections that weren't there. Graves for his part insisted he was right and everybody else was thinking too literally.
One of his more infamous theories was that prehistoric Europe was a feminist near-utopia trampled beneath patriarchal jackboots. I wouldn't be surprised if this theory inspired SJ to some degree.
It was inspired by a lot of old school theories.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. So I rewatched the SJ Law ending on You Tube... I never really noticed before that those pillars/buildings that the people are standing on don't seem to have any openings on them whatsoever. ...maybe they really are just mindlessly stuck up there. Yeep.
So I finished my viewing of the first Shin Megami Tensei game.
The guy playing it did a neutral run, so everybody died. Nothing much to say about the game. All the important beats that show up in later games are there are well, with the exception of YHVH, who doesn't show up until the next game.
Wondering what I'll look at next. Maybe pick Soul Hackers back up from where I left off. Maybe check out Nocturne a bit more. I don't know.
Also, according to the direct today, Final is out on the 20th of this month. Considering I still haven't even finished Vanilla (or to be more precise, I've only done the White Ending so far) I'm really behind. I honestly thought I'd have done more by this time.
One Strip! One Strip!Did you reset after the white ending? Because if you didn't there's not too much farther to go.
Picked up SMT 4 again to try and see if I could beat it. I've made a bunch of progress but I'm still getting vexed over how confusing Tokyo is to get around in. I still have to get to Ikebukuro to do a bunch of quests but for right now I'm stuck in Shinjuku.
I freaking hate SMTIV at times. Between the map and the vagueness of objectives, it can be near-impossible to figure out where to go even with a walkthrough.
I got stuck in a replay a couple months back and there's no way of knowing where I'm supposed to go.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I must be some sort of alien because I never had real trouble with the map.
Wonder if I'm the same kind of alien as you, because I never had problems with the map either.
Me three. The only trouble I ever had was looking for the four heads to summon Seraph.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. The only thing I had trouble finding was that hole in the northern cliff.
Yeah. Did a new game plus while planning to get the other ending, but kinda get sidetracked and haven't gotten back to it yet.
One Strip! One Strip!
Is there a list of series' demons sorted by religion anywhere?
