Red and his Pokemon had been helping holding off the synths with the others. His Pokemon's HP are in the red, and Red himself is bruised and battered in several body parts.
That's when Gordon came back, and the entire Combine was breaking down.
He called back his Pokemon and ran towards the portal with everyone else, ignoring the pain he was feeling now.
A pie bus falls into a multiversal convergence point. Hilarity ensues.
One of the Hunters that tried to dash forward did so quite erratically, something seemed to be covering its optics. Lux held it out of sheer curiosity, it posed no threat as the group neared the portals. It thrashed wildly within the cage of light.
From the looks of it, the Hunter had taken damage from a source Lux did not immediately recognize, which was why it was behaving oddly. Shielding herself form the stray rounds that still made their way over here and there, she calmly cut the imprisoned Hunter's legs off and gutted it in two fluid strokes. She lifted the object off the thing's 'face', and smiled. It was Rey's mask.
Lux refreshed her shield and hustled over to Rey, lightheartedly swatting the back of his head with it. She then offered it to him, held low so his body would hide the transaction from the others. She was unaware some had seen him unmasked already, and she knew the wrestler had a thing about his face being exposed. Lux smiled and held a finger to her lips, I wont tell

Spriggan was now near the portal, feeling tired from holding off the Combine Synth.

Rey glanced to Lux, then down, seeing his mask, chuckling faintly and reaching down to take it, nodding his thanks. He examined it a moment, brushing off some of the soot, and pulled it back on, wincing as it was a bit painful on his damaged ear, but at the same time he was obviously relieved to have it back. He offered a hand to Lux. "Thank you. I thought it probably got burnt up somewhere in the battle."
He looked back to Spriggan. "Thanks for getting that monster off me. I mean, I know we wake up back in the Common Room...but that was gonna be a pretty painful death..."

Lux smiled and nodded at Spriggan, "Yeah, so am I... I could get used to that swordsy-stuff."
When Rey looked back and made his comment to Spriggan, Lux's smile remained but faltered. the League behaved much like the challenges here, when you died, you most definitely felt it. It was in a way worse, you were aware of the agony of your dead body for up to a full minute at times, depending how you went (and it was almost never gently), it could be excruciating. Something she had felt many times. "You get... the sensation is dulled, after awhile," Lux said quietly to Rey. "You're lucky, you got to tap out of your matches."

There was a blur of black as Vezon sprinted through the portal.

A searing, bright light flooded the preceding hallway. The pent up energy in the parasol was released in a single, massive laser that cut through the retreating synths. The metal of the corridors warped and melted from the heat as hunters, hand-creatures, and the mangled humanoid forms of the Combine were instantly incinerated. In the final moments of the attack, the raw, unobstructed energy was pushed out in a burst- the magical power reacted, and anything that came in contact with the laser suddenly exploded- which of course, included the floors and walls. The way to the portal was momentarily washed in light- the sounds of failing infrastructure and snapping metal soon followed.
As soon as the light abated, the Flower Master had deftly flew a path in the others' wake, having delivered a final parting gift before the Combine's inevitable demise.
Narumi puts away his gun and heads for the portal.
"Of course, Satsuki-sama."
Gordon sprinted, ignoring the pain from his burnt leg and the residual pain from having passed through the hallway in the first place. His suit was a mangled mess, but he ignored that, too.
It wasn't another few moments before they came upon the portal room. Gordon recalled the vortigaunts instructions, and hastily pointed to the appropriate. "There! Go through that one!"
And with that, he did. Blink followed seconds later.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

Rey managed to keep up towards the back of the pack. After a moment, he blinked, then reached up to touch his face, flinching slightly. "Oh...yeah..." He looked vaguely embarassed, but kept going, just putting his free hand over his face somewhat as he went.
