A Game of Gods: A Multiversal Challenge

Seeing that Jorge was having some trouble with Mecha-Sonic, Kraft shifted his fire to the robot.

Things just had to go wrong...

Mecha Sonic stumbled from the blast. He rushed towards Craft, fist clenched.

Kraft activated his gun's bayonet and charged forward as well, letting his momentum to put force behind the coming blow.

Ravage has caught up with the princess, her droids and her escort; still cloaked, he pads silently towards her, preparing for the right moment to spring.

Mecha Sonic shot Craft.

-Eddie crashes through a door in front of the princess with a stormtrooper in a headlock-

"The situation is under control, your highness!"

-he snaps the stormtroopers neck-

"Now, get to the escape pods pronto! I get the feeling that big metal kitty is still around here somewhere....

Jorge took a few more shots before charging at Mecha Sonic with Kraft, aiming to bash the robot with his M247H. The Spartan could hit a lot harder than your average human, so if he scored a hit, it could do some real damage to the chassis.

Mecha Sonic jumped up in an attempt to dodge Jorge. It shot at Jorge's feet.

The rounds bounced harmlessly off of Jorge's shield. The Spartan didn't stop coming, aiming to smash Mecha Sonic with a kick to the abdomen.

Mecha Sonic fired his eye lasers and gun repeatedly. He then fired several missiles.

"There they are!" yelled a stormtrooper as he and his squadron caught sight of Leia and her (rather odd) comrades.

"Set your blasters to stun," he ordered, before opening fire on the group.

"I got yer stun, right here!"

-Eddie blasts out the Facemelter solo (it melts faces) at the stormtroopers-

Several of them were hit. The remaining stormtroopers ducked back behind a bulkhead, before reappearing and firing at what they now believed to be the most dangerous target- Eddie.

Realizing that stealth is useless at this point, Ravage deactivates his cloak and springs toward Princess Leia in a deadly pounce.

Roach ducked into cover as the troopers opened fire, before popping out and opening up on them again with his ACR.

Come on... They can't be bulletproof everywhere.

-Eddie blocks the blaster fire-

"Heads up!"

-he swings his axe batter style and knocks Ravage out of the air-

The majority of the stormtroopers fell from the withering barrage, only one or two remained now and they were falling back in rapid succession.

Wondering what was taking his troops so long, Darth Vader strode down the hallway and ignited his lightsaber again, radiating fury.

Ravage lands on his feet this time and activates his rocket as he surges toward Eddie with an enraged roar, streaking across the intervening distance in a heartbeat.

-Eddie stomps the ground and jams his guitar, creating a fountain of white hot sparks beneath Ravage's feet-

That barrage caught Jorge by surprise. He was hit by several lasers and bullets, draining his shield down to a quarter of its strength. Jorge cursed; he became a bit too overconfident there. The Spartan dashed to cover, and as luck would have it, this was where Hahli laid unconscious.

"Hahli!" Jorge kneeled down beside the Toa and began to shake her with his free hand. "Come on! You aren't dying here!"

Hahli stirred and looked up sleepily at him.

"...how long was I out for?" she asked, unsteadily rising to her feet.

Ravage snarls, the sparks burning the soles of his feet quite painfully. This does nothing to stop his charge, however, and he slams into Eddie, driving the rocker to the wall to pin him there.

"I'll not have you interfering any longer, human!"

While nobody was looking Roxas had already lead Leia and the Droids almost to an escape pod.

"Excuse, sir," C 3 PO said to Roxas. "But Artoo says that their are escape pods just down this corridor here."

"Really? You can understand him?" Roxas raised an eyebrow at the transcan droid that Cirno was still sitting on top of.

"Of course, sir. I'm fluent in over - "

"Save for the Jawa, Driod," Leia snapped. "We've got to get out of here now and get these plans to the Rebel base."

"Right."

"A few minutes, I believe. Get up, we're under heavy fire!" The Spartan takes the Toa's hand and pulls her up to her feet.

"Human? Well, you're half right..."

-Eddie's eyes and skin shifts colour, and a pair of massive bat wings burst out of his shoulders◊, knocking Ravage into the opposite wall-
