It's incredibly depressing to read the comments below that article and discover that not even the New York Times gets intelligent comments. Though I was amused by the fellow who noted that people are still bitching even when the government does something right.

Not really surprising. I know most comments sections are worthless, but the NYT one is an especially egregious case of liberal whining and bitching and complaining. 80% of them are only about how America can't do shit (mostly from Americans - liberal of course) or how Americans are evil (mostly from non-Americans).

And goddamn all of them to hell considering I actually support many liberal policies.
