I could never get into Film Brain's videos - they just kinda bored me. I loved him in "Kickassia", though - he had me LOL'ing. I think FB's at his best when someone else is directing him, because he's not a bad actor at all.

Groovy.

While She Was Out is easily the stupidest thing Film Brain has reviewed, and I say this even after watching Ratatoing and the Asylum movies.

Is FB slipping schedule? Considering how much I bitch about him, I still want my weekly dose.

I think that after the season finale (The Riddle) and the Christmas Special (While She Was Out), Mat goes on a hiatus for several months. Note the December-March gap between seasons 1 and 2.

And he said on twitter that he's got three essays to write this week. UK schools always go crazy with work just before the holidays.

He's in school right now so there's less videos. Season 1 ended with that ambiguous "I'm going away" scene, Mathew didn't know if he was able to continue with the series due to school. He was able to thus began Season 2.

Season 2 ended on a less dramatic note, saying "I'll be gone for a while but don't worry" now that we know he has school.

The Money Train review was good. I liked how he complained about how the movie defied physics.

BMB is back (at least on Blip)!

I enjoyed Equilibrium and my dad saw Ultraviolet. He said if he liked the former I'd like the latter (which I never saw).

Glad I never did.

I noticed that Preston and Violet make a habit of standing in the middle of a circle and killing everyone it that circle. Is that a trope?

Everything I've heard about Ultraviolet is that it's the exact same movie as Equilibrium but worse.

I still haven't seen the Equilibrium movie, nor have I seen FB's review of it.

New one: Fat Slags. That's... wow. It hurt just watching him watch it.

(Also, I'm getting a horrible sense that whoever wrote the movie's tvtropes page got turned on by it.)

but the basic plot at least is a Fat Admirer's dream movie plot, especially if it had focused more on Paige, the feedee-foodee gainer.

From Twitter:

Attention TV Tropes Dethroning Moment of Suck page: http://bit.ly/3YoyaP Don't say I didn't do the research. It disheartens me when I did.

@Funnyguts: What was the context of that?

That was the context. That was his entire Twitter post.

He means the context of the Dethroning Moment, which I imagine was some ultra-sensitive troper getting offended by a tasteless joke (that's what most of the TGWTG page is like)

It was just someone claiming FB didn't do the research about 2012.

It was really nitpicky.
