Oh god, Beach Boys will be amazing in motion.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI just realized how censored Nero's fight will be.
Or hell, that one thing anything with Purple Haze.

Imagine the whole sequence with Baby Face. How would they even do that?
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireYou know, from what I've noticed about Part 5, it might have the most problematic writing of the entire series along with Part 1.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.it has better characters than part 3.

What do you mean by "problematic"?
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back. That's not an opinion you'll get much fighting on, methinks. Araki's character writing generally trends upwards over time.

Yeah I 100% agree. I will say that from what I read the cast isn't necessarily utilized the best (since buccelatti gets the majority of the focus), but abacchio and giorno's backstories and stuff like pesci and prosciutto's camaradiere already gives it better character writing than part 3 in my eyes.
Lots of bridges being dropped on people, very broken stands, Giorono being described as a bit boring, Diavolo not being the greatest villain, King Crimson's ability confusing people, etc. It just seems to be kinda...lame. As lame as Jo Jo could be, I mean. I'm sure that there are some kick-ass moments in Part 5.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. To be honest, with a Stand that can stop a bullet from point-blank range, a Stand that can stop time, and a Stand that's effectively invincible in a downpour - as well as a Stand that possesses you if you look at a drawing, and a Stand that turns anything into a bomb - I'm amused to find out Stands can be even more broken.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!It has a bad translation in English. While I admit it has it's own flaws, it's not as bad as some say it is. I think the broken translation is what messed it up.
Warrior to the very end! My tumblr, dood!Part 5 is my third favorite part, and it would be my second if it weren't for Stone Ocean's ending. Part 4 had some pretty clever fights, and Part 5 took them to a more life-and-death setting, so it feels like an "Adventure" again. And the three-way battle was pretty cool.
- king crimson's ability is only confusing because of the shitty translation.
- the shitty translation apparently also dumpsters giorno's personality. Having read the actual good translation, he's not boring, just Out of Focus/ a Supporting Protagonist. It's not exactly bad writing, just not what people really expect.
part 5 has a lot of problems but i honestly don't think it's as bad as some people say it is. Its flaws are more glaring than some other parts, but it's hardly devoid of stuff to enjoy and most people who speak about it haven't even read it with a proper translation. Its characterization is much better than the first three parts', just for one thing. Some of the fights are great too.
Most of the stands you described have pretty concrete and easy to understand powers, but it gets much more Mind Screw y and high-concept with some stands later on. You'd probably rack your brains at what D 4 C does (and don't look it up either, it's worth seeing what it does without prior knowledge). Part 4 is only the beginning of Araki getting much crazier with the Stand powers.

Agreed. "Who Shot Johnny?" was probably the most mind-bending thing I've read in a good while.
I've always been fond of referring to it as "The Great Clusterfuck".
It sticks out like a sore thumb because SBR's battles usually did a good job at being comprehensible and flowing well while still being Jojo.
I'm honestly not the smartest persom out there, so I gave up on getting it.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Alright, then please direct me to a good translation.
So, people, what would you think about a Jo Jo Choose Your Own Adventure?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.the current re-translation project isn't done yet. it's up to volume 57 as of this writing (it ends at 63). Batoto has the new translation up, although you need to make an account to read stuff there now.
Pretty sure there's already a CYOA around the internet somewhere.
Today on Best Friends: Pat pulls a Jotaro and completely dominates at cards.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I really don't like the Superpower Wikia method of Stand creation. It limits the possibilities for more unusual stands, like my personal favorites zippers and balloon animals. The best method to me is going on vocabulary.com/dictionary/randomword and creating your ability around the word you got.
My favourite fanstand is probably one invented on 4chan of all places. It's one that grants the ability to attract fruit towards the user. What sold it was a hypothetical line of dialogue though:
"See the hole in your stomach? That was the ability of my stand, Bananaphone"
And La Squadra makes up for the big bad by being the best mook group. Manly friendship and self-sacrifice: not just for good guys anymore.
