My guess on the whole 3XK plot?

3XK is a Legacy Killer and the surgeron woman, rather than Jerry Tyson, is the mastermind. Tyson did die on the bridge that night, so she went to work starting to mold a new 3XK.

I haven't seen last night's episode though, so don't sue me.

I saw bits and pieces. Going to watch the whole thing later today. What you're saying is possible, surely, but we'll have to wait and see.

(Warning: I've seen the episode)

[up][up]That would explain the whole Michael Budrow thing, since that detail was left hanging. It would explain a lot of the recent stuff, actually, although not anything that happened in his earliest appearances.

I guess that's irrelevant now anyway, though.

Speaking of which, that shot of Beckett with the scalpel was incredible.

And if I claim to be a wise man, well, it surely means that I don't know.

If he did go out. Think of this: we don't know what happened to Michael Budrow (Not sure on the spelling so let's go phonetic.) How did they spoof his records? As Captain Gates suggested, that might have been Budrow, and Jerry Tyson's still out there. All the evidence that we were dealing with Tyson was circumstantial at best. Everything that suggests Tyson could have been stuff that Neaman knew and taught to Budrow in order to throw off the cops.

Hate to say it, but there's a 50/50 chance between this being the end or him coming back for revenge over Neaman's death.

I'm not sure, but since there were newspaper articles related to Castle's disappearance found in the hideout, were they trying to imply that surgeon woman had something to do with him going missing for three months?

I don't think so. I think it's supposed to be a Room Full of Crazy demonstrating Tyson's weird obsession with Castle.

It could go either way. They might just be making us overthinkers paranoid, or they might be hinting at more.

I feel like they're hinting at more. I'm surprised they didn't play up the possibility that the doctor had killed Kate and stolen her face in the struggle. Though, I suppose it would have been as pointless as the comercial-cut to make us believe they'd killed Kate earlier.

Just, the way it was framed with Kate's fight against her being off screen and the body obscured and everything made me think they were trying to build a different scene than they did.

I'm in the middle of watching it now. So far the funniest thing is Ryan venting about his mother in law.

That was quite possibly the silliest story in the history of fiction.

Yeah that was... painful. They may backtrack this as being a cover for something else, but I'm afraid that'd end up being even sillier.

I don't think this story arc is through. Not by a long shot

After hearing someone (who usually has no credibility in these situations) say this would be the final season of Castle, I immediately hit Google and...

So...... is it possible Stana Katic might leave?

I should hope she'd return. I can't see the show without her as much as I can't see it without Castle. The story of the show is Castle and Backett coming together. What could possibly be the reason in story for her to go?

That just sounds like there's not much planned, but Fillion happened to say he'd be up for it while Katic hasn't said anything either way. Hearsay pretty much.

Honestly I don't see where it needs to go from here. I mean, there was Castle's abduction, but unless there's fallout from that, it's already done as far as it needs to be.

And the last two episodes were reaching. I mean just this last one . . . TWO false leads on a single plane? Sheesh.

Seven seasons is a pretty good run for a quirky procedural. And I can't see the show continuing without Beckett. She's not someone you can just put on the bus and still keep the show going.

The chemistry between Katic and Fillion is one of the biggest highlights and draws of the show anyway.

I think it's a foregone conclusion that Kate's going to run for Senator at some point. Maybe not on the show, and maybe not yet, but some time. Just remember what the time traveler said.
