Lionhead has posted the opening cinematic, and in true offbeat fashion, it's Chicken Run being an allegory for the player's struggle.

Anyone else starting to think that Fable 6 will be a cyberpunk setting given how Albion keeps progressing?

The video makes me think of the first Fable.

You know I wish the things you achieved in the previous game carried on to the next on a la Mass Effect. It would be nice to know your heroic (or evil) actions in the second game influenced matters.

I swear that chicken is going to be a meme, not that it doesn't deserve it with an escape that epic. I've already taken to calling him (her?) the Rebellious Chicken.

I dunno about this one,from what the developers are saying it might end up like Spore with a dramatic game change midway through for the worse.

Ugh. I got hyped up for fable 2 and 1, I'm not falling for this shit.

Plus, rebellion fighting against the empire? Haven't heard that one before!

After Fable 2 I'd buy Fable III at full price, hype or no hype.

I've always enjoyed the Fable games myself. I'd buy this if my funding wasn't already tied up in Fallout New Vegas and going to that Emilie Autumn show on Oct. 29th.

Considering the hyped up Fable turned out mediocre, and the hyped up Fable 2 was literally the most shallow game on the planet I honestly refuse to see a single thing about this. I'm going to get it, and play it as a fun little action RPG , if I can stand Peter Molyneux's attitude of "the gimmicks make the game".

Plus, rebellion fighting against the empire? Haven't heard that one before!

The emperor is the player's brother, and after his defeat you assume control and have to lead the country yourself.

Will the revolution be civilised? Or villified?

PC version confirmed, and yes, it will have Live Achievements.

The Achievements have been revealed.

Some of them are quite clever. “He’s a Woman. She’s a Man” requires you wear a full set of clothing intended for the opposite sex, while “Dye Hippie, Dye” requires you to dye each part of an outfit you’re wearing a different colour and have long hair. The strangest may be “Coronation Chicken” where you perform a royal judgment while dressed as a chicken.

Other Achievements hint at some interesting online gameplay. “Long Distance Relationship” is awarded when you get married to another Xbox Live player, “Cross-Dimensional Conception” has you have a child with another Xbox Live player, and “Online Merger” when you enter into a business partnership with another Xbox Live player.

Then there’s the “For Albion!” achievement.

The spoiler achievement is obtained when you first start the game

I don't know if this will be a good game. It depends on whether or not they keep a lot of the stupid systems from Fable 2 and if they fix up the controls so they don't suck and stuff like that.

Hmm, this seems to be more interesting than previous ones =/ Especially art style wise... Anyway, I hope that creator doesn't this time do any too ridiculous claims xD
