What do you think might be the full extent of the Lich's power? Based on the info we have on him so far?
He can kill people.
3DS FC: 1719-3694-1541He has the potential to be very physically strong...
He can control people who aren't strong-willed...
He can cast fire...
He can kill people...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. There's also the fact that even cosmic beings fear him.
We have times and (at least tentative) dates for the next five episodes:
- Abstract: July 17
- Ketchup: July 18
- Fionna and Cake and Fionna: July 19
- Whispers: July 20
- Three Buckets: July 21
Ooh, an Adventure bomb.
That's neat, so close...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Very close to the end. I hope they're good!
"We be we baby!"*10 Well, Normal Man was Magic Man right up until Betty accidentally absorbed his powers. So, 1) Normal Man himself bore some of the responsibility, and 2) he should also understand what she had been through having been the previous bearer of said magic madness, especially since he had been at it for much, much longer.
The aforementioned airdates are confirmed, along with guest stars and a bomb promo:
- Returning guests (and the character they'd previously voiced): Madeleine Martin (Fionna), Roz Ryan (Cake), Tom Scharpling (Jermaine the Dog), Andy Merrill (James), Lauren Lapkus (Patience St. Pim), Ron Perlman (Lich)
- New: Jon Wurster (who's in the first episode with Scharpling, so this is probably another Casting Gag toward The Best Show), Charlotte Newhouse, Chelsea Peretti
So, unless there's a flashback, I guess Patience comes back? Fine with me, the way she just froze herself again in Elements was anticlimactic.
More Jermaine, yes.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Whoa, the Lich is coming back! No one's commented on this.
3DS FC: 1719-3694-1541Seemed pretty obvious from the end of the mini-series....
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Between "Gold Stars" showing he still existed as part of Sweet P, and their horn growing back at the end of Elements, it was obvious the Lich was coming back eventually.
Doesn't necessarily mean he'll do something major in one of these episodes, though.

Ooh, the Lich returns I just hope nothing sad happens to Sweet P. I love that kid.
I thought that while the way Patience froze herself was kind of anticlimactic, it was very in-character. Considering how she froze herself the last time and seemed pretty nonchalant about suddenly being transplanted into the distant future. But maybe she'll unfreeze?

Preview for the new episodes! (Spoiler Warning)
Fionna is real what the fuck.
It's not that surprising. A hat identical to Fionna's was shown in a ruin in "Beautopia" and worn by one of the humans Marceline protected from the vampires. If Fionna came from the Islands, that would explain the timing. Minerva just started letting people leave.
Obviously raises some questions about if Ice King/Simon met her or if she's Finn's ancestor or something, but I assume that's partly what the episode is about.
I think the biggest spoiler is that, unless "Fionna and Cake and Fionna" is airing Out of Order, Jake will already be back to normal by the next episode.

Or it's not "real"...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Hmm... also a possibility, yes.
I hope not, though, that seems like such a copout (and an obligatory repeat of the first one).
There's more than one way of this not being real...
It doesn't have to be exactly the first F & C.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.- "Abstract" title card.
- "Ketchup" title card.
- "Fionna and Cake cand Fionna" title card.
- "Whispers" title card.
Also, reminder that the entire bomb will be up early on CN's video app tomorrow.
Also also, "Islands pt 4: Imaginary Resorces" got an emmy nomination.
So I was completely wrong when I said Wurster was a new guest star—he was the demon Bryce in "Jermaine", and that's the same character he's playing in "Abstract".
Also, Patience's appearance was a flashback of sorts.

I've always hated the design of Farmworld people.
The eyes are just creepy.
Your momma's so dumb she thinks oral sex means talking dirty.Okay, Fionna, Cake, and Fionna was a cop-out...guess I shouldn't be too surprised. But at least it was original. But Fionna being real is really where it should've gone
Whispers was fairly straightforward, I rather liked it...even if the end seemed a bit anti-climactic.
"Three Buckets" was also a pretty bad. Another case of a Character Arc meeting an anti-climactic end before really going anywhere.
Ima gonna wait on the other two episodes.
Good riddance.
