22k chars, 3k words not counting formatting, and seeing the results of chatroom discussion there, looks pretty good. Also Gligarman, lol

Not bad at all. (Gligarman!)

But, I think:

with an average mature weight of approximately 65 and 40 kilograms respectively, a Gligar or a Gliscor

is reversed?

^ Nope, those are the rough values given by the 'dex. (Assuming that there wasn't an egregious error in-universe.)

Um....I don't think that's possible, there would have to be an in-universe error.

Maybe Gliscor are better adapted for flight?

They're still bigger than Gligar by a fair amount. How could they be that much lighter?

I don't know, but bigger doesn't automatically equal heavier.

Still doesn't make sense for Gligar to be thirty-something pounds heavier than its larger, probably-similarly-built-because-they're-evolutionarily-related evolution. Not to me anyway.

Maybe something's up with the bones to make them lighter?

How tall/long are they? Because 30 lbs with something more than one foot long would be unrealistically light.

No, I meant that Gliscor is thirty-something pounds lighter than Gligar.

@ MM&I: It's actually worse than you think, the figures in weight are in kilograms...

I could see Gliscor's bones becoming hollow upon evolving or some such thing, seeing as how Gliscor look much longer and lankier than Gligar...

I honestly don't think there's any reasonable explanation for that kinda weight discrepancy. I'd chalk it up to pokedex error, an explanation we've used before. Specifically, I'd say that Gligar is the incorrect one and should weigh less than is listed. Seriously, 3 feet and 142 pounds? Does that seem off to anyone else?

Well at least it doesn't say something like 18k kg which would be 18 Tons.

@Tracer: O_O so Gliscor is 50-something pounds lighter than its preevolution? That has to be an error of some sort.

you know what I think? Whoever was entering Gligars dex data got kgs and lbs mixed up, so Gligar should actually weigh 64.8 lbs, as opposed to 64.8 kg, which seems much more reasonable.

To be fair, nature does have examples of this happening, such as with the Paradoxical Frog.

Yeah, but Gliscor is visually larger than Gligar. By a lot.

But how much of that size difference is tail? And Gliscor also has much thinner arms and an abdomen, for what that's worth.
