I wouldn't say Pikachu hated Ash, more that Pikachu had zero respect for him. Not listening to anything Ash said, laughing at Ash's noobness, zapping him(and not in a playful way either!)...
granted, all thats gone by the second episode, but yeah. Pikachu was kinda a jerk.

It doesn't count if they don't understand a lot else either, such as other Pokemon or the situations they're in.
Oshawott looked rather frustrated when Bianca demanded he use Hydro Pump, but that was understandable.

Oshawott: I think it understood all right what the order was. It's just that Bianca asked for something stupid.
Farfetch'd: It knew that its owner wanted to use it as a no-effort woodcutting axe. It just didn't want to.
Regarding trading, I think that a Pokeball has some security precautions to it so that only the trainer its registered to has access to certain functions, and that the trade machine is required to register the new trainer to the Pokeball and Pokemon inside it. The radiation can cause certain Pokemon to mutate and evolve prematurely.
^ I think it's been established that the causes of trade-based evolutions vary from species to species.

Despite how much I take it on the anime, I've never felt a "hate" vibe from Pikachu towards Ash except for the parts where he was rendered Brainwashed and Crazy or something. Definitively not in early seasons.
