Your Scraggy article, or your homework?
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.I've got Calculus, English, and Anthropology to do, plus I have to study my Biology.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. In a world where teleport circles dot Sliph Co., Pokèmon are storable on the Internet, and a thousand Pokèballs, potions, and whatever can fit in]one bag, I find it easy to believe that matter to energy transmuters are worth as much as a bottle of water.
By the way, 200 PokèDollars sounds like it's equivilant to $2.
The problem with that being that the rest of the technology in the world isn't quite up to that spec. Digitalizing matter has a lot of required supporting technologies, or other implications. For starters, the fact that item/Pokémon cloning, rather than being glitches, would be trivial. Or the possibility that a sadistic hacker could delete your friends.
I think we can assume the bag works similar to a Pokéball, or else the bag is a bag but you keep groups of items in Pokéballs in the bag.
Internet storage, I can't see working without raising aforementioned problems. A simple teleportation network as we see in the anime and manga could work, though I have to wonder why people can't then teleport between Pokécenter computers.
The warp tiles I have an explanation for- they're basically a double-ended Pokéball. Send something in one side, immediately take it out the other. Probably experimental in Red/Blue days, but we see them coming into more common use now, albeit in high-budget facilities.
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?Teleportation thing, probably cause the Pokeball provides a safe method of teleportation. But in BW, we find out that the PC system can be hacked in to. So we should really take that into consideration.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Isn't that just a "simple" matter of screwing around with the interface to make 'mon inserted at terminal A come out at hacked terminal C as opposed to legitimate terminal B?
Hard Boiled Detective Since 1985@Quazer and Tangent 128 about price of Pokeballs etc:
If Pokedollars are about 1/100th of a dollar, then people give anywhere from 10 dollars to 1,500 dollars for beating them when you can beat them as many times as you like, healing sprays that would be easier to make than matter-energy conversion devices cost up to 15 times as much, and in Black for every 10 (easy) trainers you beat you get 1,000 dollars. I think that we can conclude the Pokemon world has a broken economy with a bit too much inflation.
On an unrelated note, would it make sense to link to the Cinnabar Anomaly at the end of the Cinnibar Island article?

You guys aren't telling me you are taking the game prices at face value, yes? I mean, do you guys know how little much a broadsword costs relative to a potion if we take things at face value?
If anything, yeah, pricing and economy in the Pokéverse are pretty different from our own. The means of production and storage are fundamentally different, and there is no need for highly coupled delivery networks except inbetween countries. But the only way I can see it holding in a state where a Pokéball costs $q and a bicycle costs $q×10e6 is through a government-mandated (and tightly enforced) static pricing system. Oh and the bike was a Plot Coupon anyway.
Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google? If Pokeyen was 1/100th of a dollar, then you'd need 150,000 Pokeyen to get 1,500 dollars. The last time I checked, not even the Champion was willing to part with more than 40,000 Pokeyen (I think it was near 30,000 if you used an Amulet Coin).
Heck, if the conversion was this way, for an extremely rare and ancient and valuable crown that he treasured above all else, the antiques guy basically paid me pittance for the ancient crown. A couple of tens of millions of Pokeyen would be in order for such an artifact.

Let's see, a liquid that automatically heal any wound vs a pointy stick yeah I can see the imbalance.
Anywho I don't vet with the parrele universe thing; mostly because it sounds stupid. Matter compression via energy densisty manipulation seems more likely.
Could we do an article about the economy.
Let's make a TCG!This is my first time posting in the forums, so please forgive me if I breach any forum etiquette.
I noticed that the starters from Johto to Unova don't have pictures, and I happen to have the full set of starter pictures that are the same style as the Kanto pictures currently on display.
I apologise for them all being grouped together, by the way. It's just the way I saved them.
(Also, sorry if they've been posted before.)
There was a discussion about those images some time before. Mostly because they were added relatively poor quality, in the sense that they are just a slit, partial view of a Pokémon's face and, if I remember correctly, because that was "stealing Calamity Jane's job". I don't know what the other contributors around here say about the images.
By the way, IMHO, we should privilege fanart; we are providing an in-universe perspective and many and all enciclopedias already will use the out-of-universe official art anyway.
More edit: that discussion was somewhere around page #164

Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google?I do feel as though it's stealing my job. But I can understand the reasoning. However, I don't think Disgeae or whateveryoucallit would be best for this project, since what's really needed is full-body renditions, and the Battle Cuts would cut out essential details.

Just put a later date in Dibs if you're too busy to write at the moment.

Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.feels relieved there was no Dibs at the time of the Nidoran article
looks at current dibs...
Hm... I better get going.
Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google?Yeah, the Dibs page is more of a Dead Man Switch than a hard end date. So long as you're still active, feel free to slip it back.

Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?Right now, I'm typing out the Sewaddle article.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Well, my math homework has hit a brick wall since I only know the angles to a triangle but not one of their sides. Now, I have a choice between working on the Scraggy Article or reading my book that's due at the library in two days.

Please consider supporting my artwork on PatreonPerhaps you should use Law of Cosines since you have the angles.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. But I have no sides. At all.

Please consider supporting my artwork on PatreonMy sister said to try a sine or cosine inverse and see how that works out.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. What do you mean by sine/cosine inverse? Because finding the sine will only get me the angle... I think? I'm new at this.

Gah. I'm never going to get this rough draft done with that knowledge haunting me.
