There's nothing in the description that makes me go eww.

I'm currently reading the latest arc and have watched the first three. Should I watch any of the of the arcs after the timeskip? They seem pretty crappy.

I enjoyed the Edolas Arc myself.

Edolas is not after the timeskip.

Grand Magic Games had some good bits… and I guess that's all I can really say in favour of the post-timeskip material.

There's certainly some good stuff in-between the first three arcs^note What are counting as the third arc, anyway? Phantom Lord? Tower of Heaven? Galuna Island? Hell, you could even call Lullaby the third arc is you're conservative enough and the timeskip, though.

Grand Magic Games is pretty bad, but has some decent moments.

Only arcs after that is the Sun village arc, which is more of a mini arc than anything and the current Tarturus arc, which despite some questionable moments, it's a actually pretty good.

The wiki calls Lullaby the third arc so I go by that. I heard that the Galuna Island, Phantom Lord, Tower of Heaven, and Fighting Festival arcs were good.

I think the general consensus is that all the arcs post timeskip started off strong and then shit all over themselves.

I am liking the Tartarus arc for the most part, but there is still a bunch of stupid moments.

I honestly though the end of the Fighting Festival utterly killed the arc. No Laxus, you don't deserve forgiveness. Neither you or your team.

Yes the Edolas Arc is not after the time skip ....... you're point!? Did he ever ask about requesting arcs only after the time skip?? No. He didn't. Read.

I like Laxus, but he should not gotten of that easily. He did hold the town hostage.

Wasn't Jellal brainwashed? Minerva's and Ultear's side changing came out of nowhere.

Jellal was More than Mind Control. If he was completely brainwashed his goals would have been different. Either way, my point is simply that compared to other former bad guys Laxus caused essentially no permanent damage, nor did he even really intend to. So I don't get why people always bring him up and not the people who are actual murderers and slavers and whatnot.

But, anyway, nothing of special note happened after the time skip in my opinion. The only thing that really stuck out as something good was the Wendy/...pink-haired girl that I can't remember the name of right now fight.

Because he is neither a Bishonen or a female, so obviously Laxus deserves to burn :V

I assume villains having their evil deeds swept under the rug is common in this series.

Especially if you don't have an Y chromosome :V
