I can't see Aqua with Holy/Light purely because neither Black Mage or Witch really has the attacks to support that element and she would definitely be the realms dedicated attack magic user.

The wiki assures me that Ghost Drive gets activated by using Thunder and Magnet commands, which sounds like a reason to give Aqua a Lightning focus. Along with a water focus, her in-game abilities be damned, because like it's right there in her name.

Roxas I would see as the Holy guy, unless I'm wrong about what that element entails in Record Keeper. In Days, he's the one with the pillars-of-light Limit Breaks and like half his weapon names referencing dawn or twilight or astral luminescence, which I assume is the sort of thing that Holy is associated with.

Yes indeed. The Holy element in FFRK sticks to both Light stuff and sacred stuff, so Roxas would fit there. Give him access to the Knight skillset, and he'd have good abilities to use that element.

But what about Ven? Holy/Light suits him far more than a elemental mage/Magic Knight like Aqua or an Anti-Hero like Roxas.

Not Wind? Because he does still have stuff like the Cyclone style, Aero spells, and the Tornado/Tornado Strike abilities.

And Roxas may be an anti-heroish character, but he's all about using Light for attacks. Watch any of his boss fights or his fighting style in Days, and he's shooting pillars of light and keyblades forged of solid light all over the place. Unlike Ven, he really doesn't have any other elemental affinity.

That said, it doesn't need to be mutually exclusive. Ventus could always have limit breaks that hit the Holy and Wind elements at the same time, and have access to both Knight and Spellblade (or possibly Dragoon). There are characters in Record Keeper who pull double (or even quadruple) duty with elements.

I think Light/Holy and Wind are equally significant elements to Ven's character and skillset, like Terra with Darkness and Earth.

Roxas should be a Yin-Yang Bomb with his Light-based powers and affiliation with the Darkness.

Ventus would probably be five star Thief because then he has access to Dash and Slash which is pretty much the speedy wind element physical attack one could imagine him doing.

I wonder how Kairi is going to fight in III? What will her signature attack be if Ragnarok is Sora's and Riku's is Dark Aura?

Smart money is on a massive burst of light.

Or perhaps she'll be an actual user of Water magic.

Maybe both. If it was me, I'd probably have it be a golden wave of light, like a sunrise reflecting over the ocean, crashing into the enemy.

Speaking of which I do hope she gets a new default keyblade like Riku did, getting rid of all the ugly default keyblades in one fell swoop would be nice.

Full-blown water element would also be neat. I wouldn't object to her pulling out classic Final Fantasy fare like Tidal Wave, or some sort of whirlpool move.

Kingdom Key is so charming tho

Kingdom Key is glorious for its simplicity and straightforwardness of concept.

It just isn't Sora without a Kingdom Key.

I was really charmed when Days let me have a Kingdom Key that operated at endgame levels of power. Or when Zero/One was just a pixelated Kingdom Key that happened to be in the top tier.

It's what makes the χ-blade so desirable.

In BBS, Terra gets Earth, Darkness and heavy physical commands, Ventus gets Wind, Light and fast physical commands, and Aqua gets Fire, Ice and Lightning.

What's funny is that they just introduced in FFRK an ability set called Heavy Physical which goes to characters with heavy weapons and is focused on Earth and Dark. Terra would be a perfect fit, is what I'm saying.

The summary was published today and is, as far as I'm aware, the only extensive summary of the whole event.

As a person who only played the first two games along with Chain of Memories and hyped for Kingdom Hearts 3. I'm very excited, I waited for third game since Elementary school and now I'm in college.

Oh boy.

I'm already looking forward to the Toy Story and Monsters Inc worlds.
