I took it to mean that Sora's "secret" was whatever he needed to do to pass his Mark of Mastery, as he's said to have gotten it by the start of III. Also, BBS is one of those games that is much better taken as a whole than analyzing each individual part. It's so engaging you don't really notice the flaws till afterwards.

It must of been soo depressing to be in the relm of darkness for so long Aqua.

The fact that you can play Pretty Princess Dress-up with Aqua is 0.2 is ridiculous and I love it.

this might mean Kairi is playable (or have a party-member role) in III

why? because

1. i doubt they'd introduce this feature and then drop it immediately in the game it's a preview of

2. since it'll be available in III, weebs will want to put cat ears on everyone, and square enix knows that they want their waifus to put cat ears on. all of them.

I bet they looked at the Chi fanbase and went "wow these nerds get really excited about pretty clothes maybe we can harness that in the mainer games for yet more money."

I have a question for the thread. I've recently had a disagreement with a friend of mine about how the Foretellers should be handled in Kingdom Hearts III. I am of the opinion that the machinations of Luxu and the Master of Masters should stay in the background in KHIII and serve more as set-up for what comes after the Xehanort-Saga. She wants the Master of Masters/Luxu to be revealed in KHIII and become the Final Boss, so that the next saga can start completely fresh. I can see her point, but personally, I feel that that would undermine Xehanort's importance immensely. What do you guys think?

I mean.

I feel like having the Foretellers be characters in the main plot would just be way too many characters to give a fuck about.

I almost am starting to wonder whether No Heart in BBSFM is meant to be Xehanort or Luxu/The Master of Masters.

...That's kinda weird. Like. Especially the ears.

EDIT: So are Aqua's accessories going to be in cutscenes like Drive Forms and Keyblades?

Because on the one hand, I will be so disappointed if I don't get to see my customized Aqua all the time.

On the other hand, I will not be able to take anything seriously.

I think it depends on how Back Cover ends. I get the feeling that's the "original" Keyblade War. The stuff we see in X and UX seems like a recreation of it.

Personally I think Master of Masters should be removed from the story by whatever ending happens in Back Cover. What happens to Luxu and the Foretellers is a bit more up in the air. Given how Luxu's Keyblade is on display in the Land of Departure it doesn't seem like he's demonized the way you'd expect. I think it would be interesting if he was the founder of the Keyblade Order that eventually produces the BBS cast. I also note that Young Xehanort refers to the Foretellers as the Lost Masters which is the same term he uses for Terra, Ven, and Aqua. It makes me wonder if they're not really dead. If they are alive somehow I think it would be interesting if they came back as part of the New Organization.

That brings up the problem of "Too many characters to give a fuck about" in KHIII.

Fair point but Xehanort is going to have 13 vessels no matter what. Some of the picks seem obvious but there are still a couple that we don't know. I think it's best if they make them established characters.

For reference I think the Norts would be:

1. Master Xehanort
2. Young Xehanort
3. Ansem
4. Xemnas
5. Terranort
6. Isa
7. Braig
8. Ira
9. Ava
10. Invi
11. Aced
12. Gula

13 is the only one I'm unsure of. It could be Repliku or Vanitas but Luxord is also a possibility.

Worlds taken by the Heartless fused together in the Realm of Darkness? Is Aqua visiting End of the World in its infancy?

A simple plot successor would be to find a way to reform the original world.

I'm still not certain we won't end up with Braig becoming a Dragon Ascendant and have him be the final boss.

I think at this point, Luxu and the Master of Masters being revealed as The Man Behind the Man for Xehanort is an inevitability. They would not be set up like this just to be buried in an F2P-game and a companion movie. However, I hope that the grander scope of their plans will only come into play after Xehanort's defeat at the end of KHIII.

@Kostya: I don't know. Placing the Foretellers under Xehanort in the Thirteen Seekers would, in my opinion, severely undermine them as characters. These are the original Keyblade Masters, who took part in the original Keyblade War. To place them under a Keyblade Master who came millennia after them and is seeking to uncover the secrets of their era seems ... anticlimactic? To me, the Foretellers appear to be more powerful and important than Xehanort. I think the new Organization will probably be comprised of at least Marluxia and Larxene and perhaps some of the original apprentices, just to surprise us.

I do hope, that the Foretellers will appear in some capacity in Kingdom Hearts III. My ideal solution would be to have them as secret bosses, similar to the Data-Organization in II. That way, unnoun's problem of having too many characters to satisfactorily develop would not come up, I think.

Their plan is to keep the series from ending by having a man behind the man each time the main villain is defeated,then release a bunch of side games on different consoles

Braih as a Dragon Ascendant was a fairly interesting plot crumb left by BBS that was unfortunately shot down in 3D because LOL XEHANORT IS BEHIND EVERYTHING ALWAYS

Well, by the sound of things, Braig might be setting up to betray Xehanort. I mean the 10+ years it's been taking for Xehanort to uphold his end of their deal can't be a good look for Xehanort.
