I disagree with CoM only having minimal importance. If you don't play that, you're going to be very confused when you play KHII. Also, TIL that KHII is only an animated movie in the HD remakes.

Not really a lord of anything
I take issue with Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance being labelled spin-offs of only "high" importance. Birth by Sleep and 3D both were the subjects of fairly massive sequel hooks and they are extremely vital as without them you don't even know who the freaking main antagonist is. Also we don't know how important Back Cover will be.
This song needs more love.
Don't know how important X/Unchained will be either.
Also whether X and Unchained should be listed as separate things.

Given how interconnected the plot is I don't think you can dismiss any game as unimportant. Every single one introduces characters or concepts that wind up being vital to understanding future games.

coded is totes unimportant. Literally all that matters is the last 5 minutes (which could have been shoved into another game) and the secret ending.
Also, stop it with the "who's Xion?" jokes. They're not funny and make trying to have any discussion related to her a pain.

I mean. It's not overly important but I still wouldn't recommend skipping it. The core plot is unimportant but it sets some pretty significant things in motion.

x2 I wouldn't recommend skipping coded either, but only because Re: coded is pretty fun. If you're not interesting in playing it, you can comfortable skip it and go to 3D without being that confused since the end of II already segues into it.

Coded the game is pretty fun. The movie is kind of eh but it's only a few hours so I think watching it isn't too much of a hassle.
