I kinda prefer what Claire said in the first version, but both versions of the comic are good.
The problem is, that I think the joke of the second one works only if you saw the first version first. Now it's a cute little inside joke, but not much else.
I disagree. As my earlier post indicates, it works just as well as a joke about Web Comic Time in general.
