Apart from the hilarious script, I also like how Randy used a noticeably different art style from what we've seen in Something Positive and his other comics. Closer to Jeph's style of late but still recognizably Milholland.

And Steve suffers. : D

Well, didn't she say the reason why she was going to therapy was to get over her sibling rivalry issues? Kinda makes sense that he'd be a focus of an early session.

Actually, the reason was because she broke up with Marten over the dumbest reason possible, i.e. her massive insecurity issues.

Not that I agree with it but the most common complaint about QC is that all the women have issues and all the men are morons.

Though now that I think about it...

While it's true IRL it's exagerated in the comic, which isn't that big of a deal as fiction often has to exagerate to get across the idea.

Check the Twitter list. At this point, EVERY MAIN CHARACTER AND SOME SIDE CHARACTERS HAVE SAID SHE'S PRETTY.

Jeph created them himself. If they're not canon, I don't know what is.

I think it's to do with the twitter being real time and the comic being Webcomic Time.

They usually update concurrently with certain events in the comic.

Examples are Angus surprising Faye, and Marten and Dora's break-up.

Unfortunately, if you have the kind of issues Mari has, not only the governing popular culture but quite possibly scores of people all your life have said you are NOT pretty, so 4 people (who are your friends and hence will lie, so as not to be mean) are like spitting in the Atlantic.

As I noted, it's more than 4 people. Her whole group of offline friends has said this, i.e. the entire main cast and some secondary characters.

Also new comic today. If this goes where I think it's gonna go, I'll have to cry BAD JEPH, BAD.
