Well shit, our home gateway device is broken and we wont be able to get it fixed until next week. So now my phone will be my only way to access the Internet until then.

So I am now officially a remote salesperson and while I'm only planning to do it part time I will say that my time on the site might shrink since I'll have more to do beyond sit and stare at my computer.

Phew! I’m glad that day of work is over with now. It made it probably the most exhausting anniversary I ever had. Now I know what Andy’s toys felt like after their first day in the Caterpillar Room. x_x

But now it’s time for the fun part. I’m going to celebrate my 14 year anniversary of being a member of TV Tropes.

Tomorrow at noon I have some vaccine appointments scheduled (just a flu shot and a COVID-19 booster). Should go okay, hopefully.

After months of looking, weeks of waiting anxiously for approval, and days of signing stuff and transferring utilities, we're now in the hardest part of moving into our new house: the weekend where we have to physically move everything we own out of our third floor apartment. And we'll have to help do it all over again next week when my sister in law's family moves in with us from their third floor apartment.

Our brand new king size bed is assembled and the internet is up and running at least. I've got my NAS set up too so we just need to plug in the TV and streamer box and I'll rest happy after the haul.

I may have just showed someone the way to the best adaptation of Fate/stay night's best route. I count that as a win.

Glad to see this thread active again, even if only for a brief time.

On my part, I have been fine, though my right eye has been struggling (it's been a lifetime thing, it's just struggling more than usual).

I did it. I have now finished watching all of RWBY. And I'm an even bigger fan of it than I was before. :)

Although I must confess that I'm not quite as big of a fan of Volume 9. That season was weird, man. And this is coming from the guy who was originally planning on having his fourth novel be a Space Opera. ^_^;;

Managed to slip my new favourite red and blue rival pair in for my first ever HGS! Excited and nervous to see how it plays out...

Well, I've almost crossed the 45,000 word mark for a fantasy story I've been writing. It's about pirates. And it's the longest (in word count and consistent time working on it) I've stuck with a project in almost three years since my divorce, so I'm really happy about it.

Got myself the DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet for my bday today

My area went snowless for two years, and now we're getting enough snow to give me a 2-hour delayed opening at work tomorrow!

I'm also going to put in for 1 hour of vacation time and just take the morning off, have lunch at home, and only work in the afternoon. Might as well.

Red defeated! (My poor Pidgeot didn't even get to do anything )

Yesterday's trip was hellishly difficult, but luckily I'm still in one piece.

I have officially finished all the route in Fire Emblem: Three Houses after so many years of restarting due to hard levels.

I got incredibly lucky on Freecycle last week and acquired a 42-inch TV for free. It's a bit bulky by modern standards for flatscreens but it looks great.

It made me realize that in my life I have only purchased one television monitor, which is no longer in my possession. I salvaged a tube TV from dorm moveout that was mostly fine, when its issues became impossible to work around I bought a 19" screen at Best Buy, a coworker gave me a 24" he wasn't using anymore, and then my sister in law gave us a new in box 32" they got in a raffle but didn't want because it was smaller than what they already had and not smart. When we moved out of our first apartment I finally got around to donating the 19".

For the first time in over a year I'm back to having a job with an actual salary; been working freelance but it's been so hard to get money from that, especially with AI being a big thing. So, time to start earning money again.

I think I just saved a guy's life. Or at least his car.
