Oh, I dunno. I was home for like 3 or 4 hours before my neighbor came over. Presumably either he was busy and didn't notice me arriving, or maybe he was out, I didn't think to pay attention to whether he was home.

But if you saw the actual company's delivery vehicle and nobody got out, then that kind of shoots down that theory.

To be fair, the van showing up, then just driving off (technically he did get out, but only to rummage around in the back of his van) doesn't make any sense whatsoever (unless he was slacking and tried to fool some sort of GPS, which makes even less sense).

If it's not done to make sure they can say 'Yeah, I did it!', it's done to catch up on hours and make it look like they did, and keep up on their hours.

~BonsaiForest I did the tricky route of force-installing the update. Everything from before was kept intact. It's like I had always had Windows 10 on this PC. You might run into trouble with your antivirus software, and there'll be a few jitters here and there; but nothing gamebreaking. A few reboots later, and they've all seem to worked out.

Excellent.

My biggest fear is that Deadly Premonition won't work with it, as that game has been known to crash left and right. There are tricks to reduce the crashes, and they work, on Windows 7, but the game has never been optimized in its PC conversion.

It's one of my favorite games of all time, too. I want it to work.

I was considering holding off upgrading my computer's graphics card, monitor, etc. until I got Windows 10. (I want that sweet sweet Ultra HD, or at the very least, 2560x1440 or something over HD)

I don't know why, but videogames get a good 5-10 fps extra in comparison to my Windows 8.1 install. Maybe it's the new directX engine. Maybe Nvdia got their shit together better for Windows 10? Like, the difference is staggering in terms of my games (both Steam and illegal).

[up]x6: That might explain the van passing through, but not why he stopped and rummaged.

Or why it was marked as delivered.

I am pissed. My phone (Moto X running Android 5.1.1) is rapidly losing its battery.

I got an app called Battery Doctor. I don't have the ability to enable its optimization features in Google's Settings.

I also did what other people suggested, and booted the phone in safe mode and deleted its cache partition, as some have claimed that their phone ran way better after that. Well, I did that, and nothing. Fucking no improvement.

My phone went from awesome to a piece of shit. Any ideas?

How long's it been running for?

Phones just die naturally after a while due to bad batteries.

How often are you charging it up, and what percentage does it get to?

I used to charge it only when I went to bed. Now I sometimes have to charge it when I get home from work.

What percentage does it drop to before I charge it? In the 30s or sometimes 20s.

I used Google Maps to find a better route home, and left it on the whole time out of curiosity to see how much battery would drain, and it lost 16% of the battery over the course of a ~25 minute drive. That's pathetic.

Then you may need to see if you can get the battery replaced - sounds like yours is bad.

You think it's the battery? I think these problems started to occur around the update to Android 5.1.1. But I don't remember exactly when this shit started.

How do you know it's specifically the battery - is this problem very common? How do I go about getting a Moto X battery replaced?

LiON batteries will die anyway, but I think in your case it's died too early - the only other option is to look at your battery usage and see if one thing in particular is using it.

You'd need to contact Motorola and see what they have to say - it's probably possible, but you may need to pay for it.

The particular thing using it is "Android OS". So there is something going on there, I think. It might not be the battery. I'm not sure.

It seems to get strangely warm after I've been using it only a little to browse a website for a few minutes, then put it in my pocket.

Fucking shit. There is no good reason why my phone should lose 5% of its battery over the course of like 10 minutes of light web browsing use. Fuck what my fucking phone has fucking turned into. Fuck fuck fuck.

@Mark: Yep. Amazon has their own section of the site for it. The Wiskey Exchange is also good. Most beer companies have an online store of some sort.

Alcoholic beverages have, by their design, a long shelf life, so they're perfect for distance selling.
