So, I was thinking on perhaps making The Abridged Series out of Bioshock, but I wasn't sure if it would work better with fanfic rather than with video, nonetheless, there's something attractive with video... even though I can't do voices to save my life.

For example, it would start with Jack smoking the airplane having a smoke and the stewardess telling him to please turn off his cigarette and then he asking "what can go wrong now?".

Or parodying Ryan's introductory video: I am Andrew Ryan, and I'm here to ask you a question. Is a man not entitled to build a giant city in the bottom of the sea? 'No!' says Sam the Eagle, 'You must take your medication.' 'No!' says God, 'Mr. Ryan, return to bed.' 'No!' says the giant tools in the sky, 'Don't make us call the orderly.' I rejected those answers; instead, I chose to escape the hospital. I chose the impossible. I chose... Rapture, a city where no one would force you take your medication, where the doctors would not be suggestion lobotomy, Where the money would not be constrained by the logic! And Rapture can become your city as wellm as long you don't fuck with me.

The second scenario made me laugh out loud.

I'd say go or it. The more twisted the world, the more funny it is.

And I'd say go for fanfic.

This is this.

You could do something like Freeman's Mind. It's both the benefit and disadvantage of having a silent protagonist.

As the writer of an Abridged Series for Resistance: Fall of Man (Shameless Plug- http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5829313/1/Resistance_Abridged) I would suggest a script format story if you don't think you have it in you to do the voices. Also make sure you have quite a few jokes and character personalities planned out before actually committing to this. That thing with Andrew Ryan sounded good, but can you keep doing jokes of that kind of quality? No point starting off and then realising you have nothing.

Dreamkeepers Prelude, check it out!

Sorry for the neglect, but college has been keeping quite busy lately.

@ Sidewinder, Thanks for recommending me this, it's hilarious though I don't think I could manage going with it. Most of what I have been thinking about it revolves more about the figures of Rapture interacting than Jack himself, though I shold probably do more work on him.

@ Bale Fire, I deeply appreciate the advice and link, script format seems to me also the best way to go, and you're right, I should probably think more about jokes and traits and characters before submerging (pun not intended!) in such project.

Well, I finally did it. I chose that the proper way to tell the story is as if it were the lost audio diaries that the player never found around Rapture...

Tell what you think and be honest, please.

You should go out of your way to make Atlas as obvious as possible.

I did... along making Sullivan the Only Sane Man among the Rapture elite and Ryan a Cloud Cuckoolander with serious case of Orange And Blue Morality.

Mc Donagh: *mumbling* 'Ere we go again…

Ryan:…who are sadly castrated by the droning majority!, by them, of course, I refer to the…

Sullivan and Mc Donagh: *bored* Parasites.

Ryan: *coughs* Anyhow, I see here you work in the New York City docks. Please, feel free to tell us more about it.

Fontaine: Oh, yeah… I manage labor unions.

Ryan: *worried* Oh? So, are you a supporter of the trade union movement?

Fontaine: Supporter? *laughs* Good joke, pal. I mean, Mr. Ryan. Me and my men make sure keep that commie shit in place with the Micks and Poles.

Ryan: Ah! I glad to hear that, for a moment I thought you were some kind of criminal.
