They were going to have 4 show us why Dante is silent in 2 but they punked out.
The 2nd novel has him acting normal like in the first game.
I have an idea... if Lady is any indication there are probably quite a few badass Normal demon hunters out there... maybe if they make a DMC 5 they can expand on this.
I think it was stated that Dante had just come back from a visit to another timeline where he had to kill an evil Trish and that is why he was so different in DMC 2. I confess I didn't really notice Dante's different personality in 2 because he never came across as all that snarky to me in 1.
Dante's snark is rather low key in the first game.
Watch SymphogearI dunno, seeing Dante go from low level (well, compared to 3 and 4) snark to a piece of cardboard was pretty noticeable to me.
I guess I just found the other issues more glaring.
Any way, how well would Dante get along with the following characters;
Wonder Woman
Samus Aryan
Kratos from God of War
Ryu Hayabusa
Bayonetta
Esdeath from Akame Ga Kill
Byakuya Kuchiki from Bleach
I feel like Dante could get along with pretty much anyone provided they weren't evil.
With Bayonetta, it would start as a quip off that would quickly escalate. I might result in a brief fight but it would absolutely result in the destruction of the city block.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!So everyone except Esdeath and Kratos.
I wonder how Esdeath and Bayo would react to meeting each other though, might be interesting to see.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!Isn't Bayo kind of a sadist herself?
Yup, hence why it would be interesting.
Depending on the circustance I can actually see them being relatively amicable with each other tbh. Which is amusing.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!Dante getting along with people?
I think a lot on that list would be the ones to hate Dante.
Project X Zone 3 maybe? Heh.
While I am not sure if that was the cause or not. He did fight and kill an evil trish(Mundus made an army of them)
I mean, it's not like there was a whole lot to talk to that could talk back.

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Agnus and Credo got annihilated
I never understood why nearly every DMC combo video maker insists on playing their own, often garbage, music over the game's music. If you want to drown out all of the vocals and SFX for whatever reason, just mute the video and play the freaking boss song.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Ah but that wouldn't be "edgy enough".
The music is what makes half a combo video well, a combo video. Often adds a personal flair to it too. It's like complaining about music video's having footage in them. :/
No it's not. The purpose of the music video is to feature a song with a video made by/starring the artist that sometimes adds context to the song. The purpose of the combo video is to show off a combo/multiple combos in a video game. You can tell the oh so obvious difference in their names. I'd still be annoyed- a bit less so, mind you, but still annoyed- even if they weren't almost always playing bad music. To make matters even worse, they don't even have the courtesy to mute the game audio (something that's incredibly easy to do and you have many ways to do so).
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Ever thought that they might be trying to preemptively avoid Capcom trying to take down their videos?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus....does Capcom do that?
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!If anything adding your own music could make your video more susceptible to copyright claims. It's mostly a stylistic thing to make the video flow better.
So you say. However, going by your logic, it would be best if they just used the game's music in order to lessen the possibility of a copyright strike.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! There are entire playthroughs of the earlier DMC's so that's why I'd be surprised that Capcom wants to strike videos that just show off how to do really cool combos.
That's not petty, that's downright nonsensical.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!From what I understand capcom isn't as bad as other companies like Nintendo when it comes to copyright.
There are novels that excuse the Star Wars prequels plot holes but that doesn't excuse the fact that the holes were still there.
