Yeah Vergil can sword teleport to Sanctus. I don't think Lady can grapple there, but as shown she doesn't really need to.

Well thats kinda natural the bosses that are generally exclusive to Nero aren't re-tuned to the other characters
Nero lacks options in a fight where Range and Keep away are constant.
Someone who does have options though... well Sanctus brought a Grass Type to a Fire Battle.

The final boss will likely become a lot easier. I can't wait to see someone use Vergil to wreck his shit just like in that fight against Credo Angelo.

I really can't wait to start playing as Lady. Rocket Launcher > Roll > Rocket Launcher, it'll be just like I'm playing DMC1 again.

The only think I fear is that Lady gets a tad repetitive after a while… she does have a remarkable variety of attacks for a gun fighter, but her style is not very "beat 'em all-ish".

Anyone else playing this? There's a couple changes to the gameplay that make it nicer. Speed kicks in way faster (which is so good for going through the levels), the rate of acquiring Proud Souls and Red Orbs is way faster so it's easier to completely outfit your character, and the Gyro blades have been tweaked so you can move them right as you activate them rather than waiting. The Gyro blades do way less damage though, so you'll actually have to fight enemies in rooms they appear in.
There's still tons of awful platforming that makes me beg for DmC, and I cannot understand why they kept in environmental orb requirements for rankings, but the fighting owns bones. After trying out the other characters I went through Dante's campaign, at first I despaired at his lower damage levels compared to everyone else, but then I unlocked Gilgamesh and Pandora and pure joy spread all over my face.
Lady is fun. Her playstyle takes a bit of getting used to because it's so different from everyone else, but all of her guns are really good. Level 3 Shotgun Charge in particular destroys everything.
Trish's whole thing is laying down lighting trails and round trip and then going ham on immobilized enemies and it's super satisfying. She could use a bit more options though because fighting Blitzes was super obnoxious. The Savior fight on the other hand, has never been over quicker (thank goodness, the fight suuuucks).
I can not believe Vergil needs even more power. He's really good, though I still haven't got a handle on everything he does. Fighting Echidna with him is hilarious, just teleporting after her like a dbz character.
I still won't bring myself to support capcom.

After playing this I'm convinced Lady is just plain crazy. When Dante does it, it makes sense because his over-the-top personality is just a reflection of his over-the-top series (along with his thorough understanding of the difference between his enemies' power and his own). But seeing an apparently even-tempered, perfectly-grounded Badass Normal getting that happy about all the explosions going off is sort of unsettling.

It's on pc also, but it doesn't run quite as well as DMC4 Vanilla.
