For the first time since their respective first seasons, tall blonde guy v. short manipulative guy subplots at the same time. LOL
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.I like that everyone that knows Izaya didn't care that he was in the hospital after getting stabbed.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Bored Izaya is best Izaya.
I do like that the new episode made the Rio incident seperate from the the Two suicide girls (that was covered in the light novel and manga) that Izaya trolled instead of replacing them.
Mina is now showing her creepy and crazy prepared side to Namie.
Varona in a sushi chef apron is hilarious, for some reason.
Now that I got recent info that Carrie transitioned to the east coast, I do wonder that it's a possible justification why she didn't get back to Durarara.
Yeah it pretty much looks like the main reason she wasn't able to reprise Mika (and Madoka's Mum in Rebellion for that matter too)
Her official Facebook page confirms that much (scroll down a few posts and you'll see her talking about her VO job)

Carrie always struck me as a bit jumbly with her schedule and lifestyle. First she's in LA, then in Texas, now back in LA? I also notice that some actors aren't bothered to be on non-union work while others need to have benefits all the time, which affects where they wind up when they do get a part.
She does humanitarian work when she's not that busy. Mostly in Africa, but also goes to Southeast Asia.
Akabayashi is fucking GAAAAR in the episode today.
It takes a special kinda guy to resist an until now irresistable mind control sword's influence and on top of that rip the slashed eye out of your own socket to remove that influence which tbh just raises a bunch of questions about how Saika works.
"Monster taking over my mind? I'll take my right eye out. Now I'm gonna confess my love to this woman. A usual Tuesday."
I thought Shinra's old man was another special case.
He owned Saika for a little while to study it, but never got cut by the blade. Not quite a host, and not a slave.
Funny ending on the latest episodes with the rumors spreading about Shizuo:
- Illegitimate son of the Awakusu Group chairman
- Married to Vorona
- Married to Vorona with Akane as the kid
- Member of the Awakusu Group
I hope they never stop ending these rumors.
The ever-evolving rumors was one of the best parts of the episode.
RIP Akira Toriyama, taken from us far too soon.Tom's epic fail in hitting Vorona had me laughing.
I wonder how long it will take before Varona figures out she has the closest thing to a crush on Shizuo she's capable of as a borderline sociopath.
Varona is now tsundere. .... I can allow this.
And Shizuo does what is probably the kindest thing I ever seen him do at the end there.
Honestly I'm surprised there haven't been any Shout-Out to Samurai Flamenco this season yet. It always appeared briefly every couple of episodes in the last one.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Dammit, Vorona's not attempting to hide her "stalker" feelings for Shizuo.
And Celty turns to the damn Transporter.
Wow, not a whole lot happened this week.
Oy!
Nothing about yesterdays episode?
Can't say anything since Aniplex hasn't put out the dub yet, but speaking of which:
Jessica DiCicco listed off Durarara2 on her list of roles in her official Twitter description and so far not even her own site says what role. Anyone wonder what role she might've played? (or perhaps she's voicing someone in the x2 Ten dub)
