It feels rough to use without the rubber though.
Also without the rubber, i eventually broke the underlying plastic in half.
(This is when i played Smash 3ds before)
So you should probably go replace it for the long term health of your finger and unit.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!I have had no issues after losing the rubber, but I also never really played anything as vigorous as Smash.
Let me tell you, losing the rubber is possibly the best thing that can happen to you. It's more dangerous, sure, but it feels amazing and, so long as you play safely, it's well worth it.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Well, at this point the cover has been found, but thanks for all your suggestions anyway.
"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."Standard size NEW 3DS has ended production.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Who buys that stuff anyway? (But I want those multicolor buttons for the XL, Nintendo please!)
This probably isn't the end of the 3DS era. People just prefer bigger screens.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Yeah, a lot of people have been misreading it as the end of 3DS production. Given that the smaller N 3 DS was never available outside special deals, this isn't surprising.
What do you mean "never available?" I've seen it sold all the time!
And people seem to really prefer big screens that don't fit in their pockets.

Because we usually use a backpack instead.
Or purses, for us women or particularly confident men.
I have Trump-sized hands, so I actually prefer the size of the OG 3DS over the XL iterations. Now that my 3DS's R button seems to be getting less responsive I'm a little disappointed that it's pretty much impossible to upgrade to the smaller-sized New 3DS, though the New 2DS XL is a very attractive-looking machine aesthetically.
I ended up getting a "normal-sized" New 3DS because I wanted a blue 3DS, and the XL New 3DS didn't have a blue color in the US. Also, because the normal sized New 3DS has the detachable face plates, meaning I can put whatever color I want on it.
I meant that the smaller N 3 DS was only made available through special promos. The ACHH edition, the RB one, the Holiday deal last Winter, etc.
That's what I said: I see the standard New 3 DS all the time, at least at online retailers, since not even the XL is getting any shelf space lately.
Or did they just not start selling the damn thing in 'murica?
That seems dumb, unless the normal model of the Old 3 DS suffered horrible sales or something.
Even though I'm sure plenty of people would like to not need a purse or a bag for their portable devices.
I tend to have pockets big enough to fit the N 3 DSXL be it pants pockets or a hoodie.
I've got the XL, but I seriously considered the regular version for the fact even if it fits in my pocket, it's still quite bulky and awkward to carry while sitting down.
Plus I'm a bit paranoid it'll fall out of my pocket and get damaged, so if I take it out it tends to be in a case in my backpack.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobI would have probably gotten the regular sized N 3 DS if it had been available in the US at launch, but as it stands I'm happy with my XL. Guess this means no more of those faceplates though, huh?
You can import them from Japan since there's no region lock on feelies.
I'd have loved to get a regular sized N3DS but I never had the money for it. When I did, I got a Switch.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Funny thing is, I've seen decals for N 3 DS & XL that look exactly the same.
I only just realized that Europe's "SNES" actually is literally the just Super Famicom but PAL.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! The SNES edition looks gorgeous.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?
One of my siblings accidentally rubbed off the cover on the circle pad of my 2DS and lost it. Do I need to get a replacement cover for it, or will it be fine?
