Makes sense. Though you can uninstall a game from the SD card, but keep the save file intact and usable whenever you want to re-download it again.
Of course, depending on SD card and game collection size, that might get cumbersome and too frequent.
And game cases look nice on a bookshelf.
Well I mean some people just like having physical copies in general. Nothing wrong with that.
I should also mention the reason why I went out of my way to buy a bigger micro SD card was to be able to update Super Smash Bros, so I want that space for that kind of situation.
Oh I like physical copies myself.
They are just so... Nice and corporeal?
Though digital is so convenient... Sometimes I wish buying a physical gave you a free digital, but that'd result in a lot more "pre-owned business" for Gamestop, or people just handing out the physical copy to a friend. Or selling it online.
Unless there was some strange "temporary lock" system that made the physical copy unusable if you install the digital copy, but unlocking the physical cart again would uninstall (and block free re-downloading) of the digital copy.
But that sounds like too much trouble for anyone to make into a system and not a lot of people would use it. Plus if they allowed the devices to write data on a game cart/disc, then that would lead to all sorts of hacking!

I don't worry about download space; I just get a bigger SD card.
Or delete some music I don't really listen to if I can't afford a bigger SD card at the moment.
...At least half of my SD card is taken up by music. Can't help it, I like screwing around with the pitch/tempo sliders on 3DS Sound.
Even with that, I'm nowhere near having to worry about space, anyway; I'm at a 64GB card right now, and that goes a very, very long way. And if I eventually get a 128GB card for preemptiveness' sake (or because I need the 64 for something else at some point), I don't see myself EVER running out on that.
Also, all my space for physical stuff is taken by things from older gens that I can't bear to get rid of.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerFucking hell. How much did that SD Card cost?! My 32 GB (I think) cost quite a bit on its own.
Assuming they live in the US, 40 USD. 80 USD if you splurge for SanDisk.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I thought the 3DS couldn't support cards bigger than 32 G?
I have an 32 G micro sd. I think I got it for a fairly decent price... 20€ I think?
There's no official support; that just means no warranty.
Larger ones are perfectly usable if you format them to FAT32 before using them.

So, Quick Question.
Is Fantasy Life any good? I've heard rumors that it's too short.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. If you just do the story stuff, sure. But honestly, the story is the weakest part of the game. It's cute and has a really sweet ending, but the meat of the game is in the quests and exploration of the world. I survived a bout of being really sick with that game, playing around with all the different job classes/Lifes.

I played it to hell and back. The story is IMO awesome, but short. Bosses are easy, and you really never die. Multiplayer makes it way more fun. No Antagonist for an RPG is a cool surprise. Also Rousseau Was Right.
You will spend more time messing with the jobs. There's also a DLC expansion if you want to go to level 200 (twice the normal cap).

Any possible explanation why I did not streetpass a single soul in my recent Singapore vacation? I'm hazarding a guess that there's about 40 PC and mobile shops to 3 console shops, making it seem "consoles" are kind of niche there.
Though seeing Fire Emblem Fates keychains in an anime shop was a surprise.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Fantasy Life is pretty good but, as said, the story is the least part of the playtime. If you buy the DLC and try to get every job up to the highest rank and beat the various extra challenges it adds a lot of extra play time. I'm playing through it currently and trying to get all the skills up to max, which takes quite a while.

Every time the bunny talks about a different game I start loving Badge Arcade more and more. The Majoras Mask one was priceless.
I assume different regions get different badges. Or more specifically, the same badges at different times.
Since I have only seen Mario Bros, Animal Crossing, Splatoon and most recently Mario Kart.

One has to wonder who ol' Badgegrab's boss is if he owns a functioning Ocarina of Time.
Also, I'm definitely buying plays for those those bottled launcher badges when they're released. I can probably do things with them.
North America's also had Pokémon, Boxboy, Pushmo, Rhythm Heaven, and Tomodachi Life.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerWondering if it's by region or if it's one of those weird things that it looks at how long you have owned the software / how many different days you have visited.
People new to the badgecade would be way behind in whats available to them though.
I think it's by region.
And not to worry, if you start late, they bring old ones back after a while.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerSo despite being a Canadian resident, I managed to take advantage of the American National Streetpass Weekend at my hotel's Mc Donald's at Las Vegas. Got Hoopa for Pokemon too!
I was initially unsure about Badge Arcade but it is quite fun. Sure, it has microtransactions very central but it's like actual arcade machines in that regard and you can get a decent amount of free plays. I'm mostly collecting Splatoon badges right now.
So what's the best game to get in terms of getting a high Streetpass population? Should I play online with Luigi's Mansion and Smash?
Miis that show up through other games don't really do much for your Plaza. Just bloat up the population, but are un-usable for the games.
Well, you can also import them into Mii Maker and start using them for yourself in most games that allow Mii use.

Does that pink bunny character have a name and are they male or female?
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!
I'd rather just save that space for download-only titles if I do so, having hard copies helps save that space.
