I actually just found my n3DS. Missing it was driving me crazy since I want to finish Xenoblade 3D by the end of November. Finished XBC on Wii, but that was over a year ago.
Anyone else at college use a wireless network that requires you to login before connecting to the internet? Or in a similar situation? Because I can't connect to the internet on my 3DS any more.
My school has two wi-fi networks, one of which is the secure network that has a rather convoluted connection process that I don't think works on a 3DS, and the other which is the guest network, which simply requires a login authentication via browser whenever you connect.
For the past two years, I've been just fine on the guest network; I'd have the connection saved in settings, open the browser, and tap login. But this year I've been completely unable to use that method; whenever I open the browser, it tries to load, before giving me an error message saying "The Internet browser cannot be used at this time. Please check your network environment or try again later", before forcibly closing the browser and kicking me to the home menu.
I have no idea how to fix this.
Maybe they changed the some of the wifi networks settings? Try searching for a "new connection" in the area.
Nope, the network settings are the same, since my laptop and smartphone both connected without me having to change anything.
My school has one of those too. To connect a 3DS, you have to send your MAC address to the IT desk
We have to register game consoles/handhelds at a device registration site that the IT dept. provides. Of course, my college's wifi isn't the best, so a lot of the online features suffer form frequent disconnects or sometimes just don't work(like Splatoon's multiplayer)
Zip Lash may be Chibi-Robo's last chance. In other words, goodbye Chibi-Robo. You had a surprisingly good run.
I'm gonna keep hoping that the amiibo boosts sales. There's no other way to get the amiibo besides the game, I think.
Honestly I think Nintendo's been pretty generous to give him this many chances as is.
Is anyone else hyped for Hyrule Warriors Legends? I've always wanted to play it but I haven't gotten a Wii U.
I want to play as Sheik and Impa and Lana SO DAMN BAD!
You can't get it wrong if it's the truth!Sad to hear that about Chibi. Granted, it has gotten 5 games, 4 of which came out as physical releases. I just hope the original or/and garden patrol get released to the virtual console.
I got my fill from the original port. I really enjoyed it, but I've given up cause of trying to 100% it. That kind of killed it for me.

My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013Welp, it's official. Nintendo's really signed their own death warrant this time.
The Virtual Console is the only thing other than hipster indie shit that Nintendo had to lean on in the eShop. And with a brand-new system in the 3DS family, too, and the first holiday season with that system fast approaching, you'd think they'd want to expand their damn catalogue a bit more.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerHow many worthwhile Gameboy games are there anyway? They probably have most of the classics on there already.
You do realize that indie =/= shit and that there's more than just Game Boy and SNES games for the Virtual console, right? Nevermind the fact that SNES games are still available on the Wii VC. While not all of the Game Boy games are on there, there's not a huge clamoring for them now that most of the major titles are out. Most people want DS and GBA games, or GCN because they still haven't realized that they will never happen.
Here's a better article that actually says more than just a single tweet.

So this is what, the thousandth death warrant Nintendo have signed for themselves?
Trans rights are human rights.I'm an old man that has literally spent over $1500 on VC titles over the years because they're all I can hang onto anymore to distract myself from the fact that time is eating away at me faster and faster. I'm sorry if I'm a little hurt by this.note

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerThat's not a very informative link. It doesn't say whether they mean the Gameboy family as a whole or just the original and the Gameboy Color.
Oddly enough, I know that feel Baff. Granted Nintendo does what Nintendo does, but I too have felt the same way lately...so has my hair.
Still wish I could get the older console titles on 3DS though.

My art Tumblr![1] Really need to get back on that...Nintendo stopped putting up Gameboy VC games a long time ago. They've been focusing on the Wii U one mostly. Why I can't say, but I suspect it's because it'll be easier to transfer those emulators to NX, hopefully allowing us to keep our Wii U VC games for free. What this would mean for our 3DS VC games I don't know, so I'd hesitate on getting those unless you really want that game.
"Nintendo is dying because they haven't done any Virtual Console for Gameboy even though there's other things to worry about!"
I would say a certain company, but I'm fairly certain that everyone knows that company already.
Because, you know, the Game Boy is totally the only system that they've done VC releases for.
Yet everyone's neglecting to mention that the final (NA) 3DS VC release was a trilogy of original Game Boy titles in late February. Not Game Boy Color. Not NES. Not Game Gear. Not Virtual Boy. Game Boy.
Even if only the GB is specified, I seriously think this doesn't look good for the rest of the involved systems. At first I thought there was only such a drought because of Mr. Iwata's failing health obviously being more important note , but this confirmation means that easing the workload on him didn't have a thing to do with it.
After I calm down past my knee-jerk reaction (which is what led me to say that ridiculous thing — I'm still working on it.), I plan to write a formal, completely non-confrontational letter to NoA politely asking about the situation, without demanding anything be done about it. But as I haven't calmed down yet, I'm not going to write it yet. Even I know that asking people about anything while you're angry nearly always leads to people having a low opinion of you and the rest of the fanbase.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerPresumably they're holding back some for the next handheld, presuming that it will have backwards compatibility so you will still be able to play your old VC games on it.
I am literally on the eShop right now and there are tons of Gameboy games. Even some I've never seen before.
Why is this guy complaining again?
You can't get it wrong if it's the truth!
The New 3DS XL is one of the best handhelds I've ever had. I love the bigger screens because I have vision issues.
I picked up Xenoblade Chronicles 3D because I've never played it before and Shulk is one of the few Japanese created characters I am proud to say I love.
It's fantastic. I haven't been playing it lately but I do intend to finish it one day.
