I wanted to refresh myself on Blaz Blue's story before the big spoilers show up. The excellent wikia and forums were a lot of unstructured reading, so I ended up trying to make a streamlined Blaz Blue story and lore guide.

I tried to be as factual as possible and stay away from speculation, but sometimes I had to make guesses, especially since I went with a mostly timeline format. Let me know if I got something way off!

Wow. That's different from what the opening (and Terumi's Astral) suggested. I was expecting pure black and green. Not that monstrosity. I'm pleasantly surprised.
EDIT: On the note of the interview, I don't buy most of it. He knows good and well Jubei has a bunch of fan demand and looks what's happened. And I believe he said no "Extend" for CP and look what happened.

Keep in mind that Terumi's Act 3 ending had him use The All Spark some weird cube, claiming it could get him a new unit to survive. So this could very well be that, without him killing Hakumen. Although honestly, Hakumen is probably going to die this game anyway.
It could also mean that Terumi's put all his eggs in one basket, and he can't pull any revival tricks in the Susanoo body. Thus culminating in him exploding like a Mortal Kombat boss.

Geez, the Susanno reveal would be pretty great news if it wasn't for that news article saying an Extend version probably won't happen.
Arc Sys/Arc System Works really just want to stamp out every last hope for a dub don't they. What a bunch of assholes.
