You are a lab rat, and a parasite is growing on your right arm.
Parasite Days includes the following tropes:
- Lost Technology: Of a sort. It is implied that a lot of common foods are unable to be replicated
- Gaia's Lament: In a conversation they outright say that the oceans as no longer inhabitable and are rainbow-coloured.
- Ruins of the Modern Age: Downplayed. Sort of. You don't get to actually see the outside world as you are stuck in the lab. The 'ruins' are actually common foods that The Foundation tries very hard to replicate.
