There are several allusions to a monotheistic religion in-game, but I don't believe it ever amounts to anything. Izanami certainly doesn't seem to have an in-universe fanclub or anything like that, for instance.

I never noticed just how big Mai's boobs where. Like, OK yeah they were always big in the manga, but her Actual In Game Story Portrait has them as like, uh, huge. Especially since we got Caijun (who is pretty endowed herself) to compare to in the same shot.

All the one star reviews mention DLC, so it's all the people who bought the whole of the DLC from the vanilla feeling salty. I feel bad for them, I mean the JP crowd had to buy the anime blu-rays of all things to get the stage and music DLC. I don't think they ever got to option to buy it on the psn store like us, or at least I think.

That's how it was for the original CP iirc, and now they're including all that and the expensive system voices(which I think added up to $50) in CP Extend for free, which is a slap in the face for anyone who bought it before. I mean it's expected after CS Extend, but still lol.

Japan and America got fucking lucky and at least they got them. Europe never got those stages or musics at all.
So basically I was fucking taunted online with people playing stages and music that I couldn't on my own. And importing's getting more expensive so if Arc Sys decide to pull an Xrd on us and withhold CPE for no good reason, we're fucked and that means A decent chunk of the entire world misses out through no fault of its own.

Even with Mortal Kombat X, we have to Pre Order to get Goro for free, when he is on the disc, and very clearly on the disc, since he's the Sub Boss on the Story Ladders.
It says something when Killer Instinct 2013, an Xbone Free to Play Game, is one of the fairest fighters out there when it comes to DLC. You need to buy all the characters, yes, but the game and all it's modes are free out of the gate, and getting all the characters costs as much as a regular fighting game would, no extra strings attached.
So what i'm saying is that I totally dodged a bullet by not having a PS 3 so I could play CP. Maybe I could get it via import or EU Release (Ha) maybe, or maybe not.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...
I admit, on the disc DLC is one thing (and once we get to updates that make DLC-less games compatible with DLC online, the difference becomes...muddled) but games that still utilize the "on the disc DLC" content in the unmodified game is...very shady.
Like, they aren't even trying to hide that they already "finished" the DLC long before the game's launch, but charge you for it anyway.
