I really like this game and you should too. One of my favorite SNES games mostly because of how Crazy Awesome it is. Part one:

Question: does this game get any less repetitive? It seems very...linear.

Also, I like how ninja's response to everything is to throw people. Even the boss. That, my friends, is pure win right there.

Also also: could you perhaps turn up the volume a bit? I can hear you just fine, but the game is very, very soft.

The game is very linear across a single horizontal plane, but as it goes on enemies get more varied, setpieces become more and more awesome, and there become more and more environmental hazards.

Also, the software I'm using, Cam Studio, doesn't have an option to record both microphone and speakers. I could just turn it up and hope my omnidirectional mic picks it up.

Taito's Magnum Opus? They made Bubble Bobble.

But I'm enjoying watching you knee drop people and such. Looks like it'd be pretty fun to play.

They made Bubble Bobble? Never knew that.

It might be a good idea to list these videos, otherwise only tropers can find them.

@Taco:sad

Also, Taito can't claim this as a Magnum Opus, as Natsume made the game.

didn't have them listed because they were in a backlog already uploaded to youtube; didn't want them all revealed at once.

Oh, I just wondered why there were 3 videos in your account yet this Let's Play was missing.

For the casting call, I'm saying... show up around 6 PM Eastern in Vent; it's not that they're auditions, I just want to make sure your mics don't suck.

Strange, that level looks suspiciously similar to Live-A-Live

Personally, I prefer to take the pacifist route and not kill anyone, you get a sword with 40 attack power without having to fight Majin Ryunosuke plus the fact that it's the "good" route to the chapter

It's definitely repetitive and simplistic, but I agree, it's got a catchy je ne sais quos that made it worthwhile. I think it's either (a) the game is good at making you feel like a Bad Ass, and (b) it has a really catchy soundtrack.
