That was pretty good. Robot Heaven didn't surprise me, but I did find it unnecessary. Also, statements that Bender died several times before?

The sad, REAL American dichotomyThey didn't say he died, but that he threatened to kill himself on numerous occasions. The first time the viewers saw him, he was at a suicide booth.
Well, that went in an unexpected direction. Minority Report of all things
Liked the episode. A bit of a rocky start this season, but I think it's looking up.

Belief or disbelief rests with you.Maybe it's just me, but I rather didn't like the first movie; I thought it was a tad too hamfisted how easily-triumphant the scammer nudist aliens were, and how easily and perfectly these guys scammed practically everyone in the whole setting.
I dunno, it just kinda bugged me.
Well the first third of this episode was already proving to be better-written than the first two of the season combined!
What is up with Fry and Leela's on and off relationship this season?
Seriously though, didn't they become more of a real couple beforehand?
Trying to avoid Shipping Bed Death I think.
The status of their relationship varies Depending on the Writer and the needs of the episode.
It's not over. Not yet.The relationship will probably be resolved by the Series Finale, like the last two "series finales." Until then it's likely Status Quo Is God and Will Theyor Wont They.
They're not making a big deal of the relationship. Nor should they, it limits the number of jokes they can make.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Wow, I actually really liked this new episode. It had more "Genius Bonus" jokes, a take that or two at itself, and even the pop culture reference was well done.
Yeah seriously. Spoiled for me.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyThanks for spoilers, genius.
This i why i love zoidberg
Finally saw the Minority Report ep, and the one tonight. Both quite awesome, I was worried that the stinky season opener would portend doom, but they quickly recovered.
"Do you wanna come over to my house and play?" and "I'm scared and great at sex!" made me laugh my ass off.
Emperor Wu liked cake, but not exploding cake!So we don't have a spoiler policy?
I don't think what I quoted spoils anything, but I'll spoiler anything about the plot.
Emperor Wu liked cake, but not exploding cake!Should we adopt a spoiler policy in this thread? I don't mind.
Fight smart, not fair. It's nothing serious, it's just that those quotes kind of spoiled Zoidberg's badass moment and Bender's affair.
Zoidburg's a badass now. :D
It made me laugh, but I hope they aren't taking him in an unexpected direction because they can't think of anything else to do with him.
We should adopt a light one. I'll come up with one eventually. This thread moves pretty slowly as of now, and the different type of media from the last policy I made (for the manga threads) has different things about it, so we should take that into account.
That said, I enjoyed the Space Pope finally saying something, and Clamps finally clamping something.
Was not expecting, and was not satisfied with, the Cluster F-Bomb. Was absolutely expecting, and was still satisfied with, the ending. Otherwise, I liked the episode.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyOkay, no unspoilered punchlines or plot points for the first five posts?
Fight smart, not fair. That's sort of what I was thinking. But, as the last couple episodes have shown us, we've actually spent less than 5 posts each talking about episodes. So I was thinking we'd do spoilered comments for a time range, 3-5 days for punch lines, 5 posts for plot. Because, with previews, summaries, the show's format and such, plots can generally be established within a couple minutes.
That said, if there's a swerve in the plot that's an actual surprise to those viewing it, then that should be spoilered for as long as punch lines.
Thoughts?
I'm thinking longer for punch lines because that's where a lot of the value for the show comes from, as seen with the above Zoidberg example.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyThe latest episodes isn't that great for me so far. The humor's coming off as pretty weak and not as intelligent as before.
Here's hoping it gets better.
