Le sigh. :P I guess I'll go find some soothing white noise or something...
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableHas anyone else heard about blogs being deleted over music posts?
Nope. Just a bunch of posts talking about it. I did see another post saying this is all bullshit, though. Never verified either claim as I don't have enough interest on the matter.
You're the first I've heard of it.

yeaaah that was definitely a fraud
the original postings all linked back to themselves
and the get button on one person's theme just linked back to the music file
ophelia, you're breaking my heart@Noaqiyeum, maybe you could try editing your background to white and gray instead of white and black? I think it'll still have that illusion effect but not pop out too much. Personally I think the illusion is pretty cool... it does get a little bit dizzying after looking at your blog for a while, but I'm not too sensitive to motion sickness so it might affect other people more adversely.
Tumblr here.Much better. I can actually look at it long enough to read the illusion without my eyes watering from the strain XD
Vision problems suck >_>
So I've gotten the impression that "Inappropriate Audition Songs" is currently a 'thing' that's happening on Tumblr right now.
Yes it seems to be the new meme, it at least requires some creativity.
It's a cute meme, I'll give it that. although as someone who doesn't know many plays and doesn't listen to music, I Get like, 5% of them.
Read my stories!Oh yeah I have that problem too, I mean I'm sure it's quite clever but I usually only get one in a batch.
Example? <_<
Sixth - oh good! (Thank you for the suggestion, Tumbril!) :D
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableHi, I'm auditioning for Tumblr and I'm going to sing "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist" from Avenue Q.
I've also seen
"Hi, I'm auditioning for the Phantom of the Opera and I'm going to sing Chandelier by Sia."

ophelia, you're breaking my heart
EDIT: I decided I had to try making at least one of my own.
I'm not sure if I did it right or if I did it completely wrong.

Why are zodiac signs such a big thing now? Did astrology make a comeback while I wasn't looking?
Two explanations come to mind. One, Homestuck, though it hasn't gained any relevance lately (more the opposite). Two, it's a category system in which everyone is assigned one easily, so it's simple to look at a post and say "huh, that applies to me", which makes these posts very rebloggable.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Homestuck's been on hiatus a lot these days, unfortunately. I suppose it's inevitable, given that we're nearing the big finish.
I am surprised how often the zodiac stuff seems to apply to me.
Oh God! Natural light!@Jawa: ahahahaa. I liked it!
ophelia, you're breaking my heartI kind of want to make an account, solely to get drunk and pick fights with social justice warriors.
Among the fines of reasons to make an account.
It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane. My favourite Signs post was something like "The signs, matched to the zodiac".
aries: cancer
gemini: capricorn
cancer: taurus
(&c)
Libra: Scales
Pices: Fish
Cancer: Inoperable
Well it honestly is painful. As in it just strained my eyes looking at it. I have to admit that it's clever XD
