This thread is for quick questions. A "quick question" is a question which has a relatively quick, generally factual answer; a question which is not likely to inspire an extended discussion.
e.g.
Quick Question: How tall is an average ten-year-old boy?
Not a Quick Question: Why are Americans obsessed with guns?
Quick Question: Why is ALS sometimes called Lou Gehrig's Disease? Who was Lou Gehrig?
Not a Quick Question: In Alan Dean Foster's Thranx Commonwealth series, is Pip a Mary Sue?
Get the idea?

It can save in Microsoft Office formats.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.If it can't save as a .txt,.doc. or .rtf, it's freaking broken. Those are old, bog-standard, basic formats.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Lessee... it can save in rtf and txt too. Or html, or a couple other formats I don't recognize. Should be fine. And you can export as pdf, too.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Open Office isn't downloading. Hmm.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.Open Office or its new fork Libre Office are what you want.
As far as I know, as of version 3.2, Open Office Writer can save in .DOC, .RTF, and even .PDF formats. Its native default is .ODT but that doesn't mean it's limited to that.
It can read .DOC and .DOCX, but cannot save as .DOCX.
What do you mean Wordpad won't let you upload?
You can also change the default save format. One of the first things I do when installing a new copy of OO.O is change the default format to .doc because nobody accepts .odt
And then I set ctrl+2 to double-spaced lines.

Fresh-eyed movie blog[[strike:Text goes here.]]
ends up as
Text goes here.
Programming and surgery have a lot of things in common: Don't start removing colons until you know what you're doing.Oh.
I was trying [[strikthrough: some text here]] and it, naturally, didn't work.
How foolish of me.
Edit: Sweet.

I am now known as Flyboy. Is the "Bottle Dance" from Fiddler On The Roof based on or suspiciously similar to anything else? I just know i've heard it before.
Pages Needing ImagesIs there something that's like Image Pickin' but for page quotes? I see a lot of pages with awful quotes.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.I made a Steam account, but when I try to log in, it gives me an error message (it says that the account name or password is incorrect, or to visit their site, where it says my account is logged in in other computer). Any ideas?
EDIT: Nevermind, fixed it.

Likes many underrated webcomicsIf your egg sinks to the bottom but stands upright, what does that mean?
Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am...It probably means there's an air bubble in the pointy end, I guess.
Fresh-eyed movie blogSo... is it alright to eat today, if it was packed on August 30? I've heard things like "eat by 5 weeks of pack date" but other things like "I keep them around for months and they're still okay".

Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am...How to delete my account?
Is there anyway for all my posts to be gone and blanking my posts? I heard that there's troll posts.

There isn't a way to do that.
Also, deleting your account actually makes it possible for someone to recreate your account and impersonate you, so I would advise against using that. Just change your password into something else without looking when you type or something.

somethingYou can just leave without salting the earth.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Is there a way to be permabanned without doing a bad post?
@Draco: Why would you need that? Can't you just go with my suggestion on making a new password without looking? The password change page doesn't have a "retype new password" requirement, by the way.

somethingYou can blank the questionable posts yourself and put a notice in your signature or something that states "This account is no longer used".
Now using Trivialis handle. It just seems like most of the candidates in X Factor just exist to get dissed, its not they don't try but they try fail on top o it. Are there really judges like Simon? It just seems that he picks people apart.
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."
I don't think open office saves in those formats. If I recall correctly, that's in odt. or something.
edit: Wait, apparently it can read other formats. Although I'm not sure how many of those formats it can actually write in.
