-Shakes fist angrily-
You kids and your limited color pallet! Back in MY day a blue soldier and a red soldier could be COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS!
Bleye knows Sabers.Back to Psychophobia, I think my game is broken. The "Archvile attack" weapon doesn't work at all. Neither of the mouse clicks do anything, even if I have full ammo. All I got is fists to fight a bunch of snakemen with axes and those pesky barbarians. Halp?
You're farther than me at this point. I haven't begun chapter 2 yet.
Bleye knows Sabers. So, playing doom and doom 2 in the BFG edition.......
they edited out all red cross and swatikas along with all the nazi refferences
Screw you moral guardians, just screw you
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/I didn't expect the people that codified the violent First-Person Shooter with a game about the Legions of Hell invading to be so skittish about that.

Bleye knows Sabers.According to them, they received complains, lots of them
normally Id doesnt give two fucks about them, so Im gonna blame Bethesda Softworks (figures) over this
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/Ooh, ooh, can I blame Bethesda for Rage's lousy design decisions and consolitis too? Although I gotta admit, the game runs flawlessly for me on my PC. Except I get a lot of screen-tearing, and of course the texture-popping.
I think so; I mean, I don't think Quake 4 had any of those problems that bad, and that game's six years old.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatWell, id didn't develop Q4. That was Raven Software. It also ran on an older version of the id Tech engine.
Also, the Red Cross, since they don't want their symbol to be displayed in games. If I were Bethesda/Zenimax or Id or whatever, I wouldn't want to risk legal action by them too.

People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.Isn't Wolfenstein 3D available uncensored in Germany now? If so, I would think that the Wolf levels in Doom shouldn't be an issue...
Somehow you know that the time is right. No, it isn't (do you confuse it with Doom, which was taken off the index, last year?). The swastikas (and probably other stuff, like the title music) ensure that it will stay completely banned (and not "just" on the index).

People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.Yeah, that's probably it. I know I read that one of those old games got the ban lifted. Damn censorship bureaus...
Somehow you know that the time is right. The 2012 Cacowards are out, though not on Doomworld.
Time once again to enjoy the list of awesome mods you'll never have the time to play.
So has anyone ever tried that Doom 64 Total Conversion?
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowI played it a couple of years ago and it's really good, also a bit Nintendo Hard in places.
Somehow you know that the time is right.I've spoken with one of the guys who worked on it, Elbryan was it? He's pretty cool.
There's also Doom 64 EX which is a more accurate TC. But they're both good.
Come to think, Doom 64's a bit underappreciated, isn't it?

I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowWell it is based on a game not a lot of Doom fans probably knew about, probably because a lot of Doom fans didn't trust Nintendo handling the series after the disastrous SNES port of Doom 1.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI wasn't aware Doom 64 was based on anything. I thought it was all the monster redesigns and the spooky atmospheric music instead of the MIDI hard rock music old Doom was known for?
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowI think that means that Doom 64 itself was comparatively lesser known.
The main disadvantage of Doom 64 EX is that it requires a Doom 64 ROM to create a .wad file, which means that few people nowadays can "legally" play it.
Also I think the new levels from the first TC were pretty awesome.
Somehow you know that the time is right. The Doom 64 Museum was a pretty neat idea to get people into the weapons before playing the main game. You know there's a way to play on the intro map.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowI actually hunted down a copy of Doom 64, but playing it in EX is probably the best way to do it; the N64 controller is okay for playing the game, but just can't hold a candle to WASD+Mouse. Especially since you can't alter the controls of the analog stick any, so even if you move with the C-buttons to act as a WASD and use the x-axis of the stick as mouse, which is rather effective, you'll still be moving around if that y-axis twitches. Kind of annoying.
Would like a mod to restore the PC games' sound effects, though. Call me a stick in the mud, but I always liked them better than the replacements from the PS 1/Saturn ports or N64 game. I'm cool with the new graphics, though.
Moon◊I would have liked Doom 64 to try to imitate some of the old Doom's epic hard rock.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowNot really Aubrey Hodges's style, though.

Like I said before, mkay
